I have heard some good things about this place recently so I figured I would check it out for lunch. After being fleeced for all of my quarters by the ridiculously expensive parking meeter out front I entered the bar area and was greeted by a large brick and wood lined space. Pretty large bar area on the left with a decent sized dining room to the right. Tons of TVís all over the place and a separate bar area outside if you want to sit out there. Quality was good, correct glasses and decent enough food. Service was pretty good. He was around when I needed him and he offered some suggestions. Selection was great for the area. Tons of different beers from all over the country. I stuck with the local options and got a Cape May Blonde. They have two dedicated taps just for Cape May which is awesome, but they also have plenty of other options as well. Food was decent enough. I tried to get a brick oven pizza but it wasnít up to temperature yet so I had to switch to the chicken finger sandwich which was pretty solid. Overall a nice beer bar in a sea of nothingness. I will definitely return in the future.

Good beer bar with quality food, located several blocks inland from the boardwalk nonsense. Sat in the outdoor patio area, very pleasant. Service was poor, likely because young seasonal staff. Probably the best spot in the Wildwoods for a beer geek.

Walking distance from north wildwood, medium size bar with 20or so taps, dedicated cape may taps, lots of victory, couple carton which was nice. Solid

Decent food, good selection of beer especially for a shore town, and decent service. Good place to visit, pizzas are nice though the beer all seemed a bit watery.

Really great beer bar down the shore...definitely the best thing in the area and for some distance beyond. Very nice selection of drafts and bottles. Atmosphere is decent enough...staff is welcoming. I drive up here even when staying in Cape May as we often do. I highly recommend a visit here if anywhere in the greater Wildwood area.

First, itís not a brewpub and it annoys me when places call themselves something they arenít. But, this really is the best thing going "down the shore." The taps are full of good stuff- Bigfoot, Brooklyn Monster, Victory Yakima, along with some local stuff from Cape May Brewing and Tuckahoe Brewing. They say they will always have two Cape May beers on to support the local scene, which is cool. The place is pretty big with a fairly long "L" shaped bar and a nice dining area. I was in on a Sunday afternoon in February and there were maybe three or four other people there. The barkeeper was friendly and knowledgable of the local scene. I would give the place a higher service rating if it were just him, but the burger I ordered took FOREVER to get to me. The barkeeper was even getting annoyed at how long it took. Overall, I really enjoyed the place and the beer selection was great and in good form. The only place worth going in the area.

Ambiance: dive bar-ish, but clean and not threatening. Service: S...L...O...W. But friendly. Selection: As others have noted, itís an extensive list. Itís also not updated on the website, and only viewable on a chalkboard in the bar. Every time I wanted to try a different beer (I had 3, and ordered 2 for my wife), I had to get up and walk across the room and stare over peopleís heads to read the board. How hard is it to print up a small sheet every day for each table? As far as the selection itself, it was a little heavy on the IPAs, but overall very nice. Food: The brick oven pizza was excellent, the onion rings first rate, and the nachos were mediocre. Menu was typical bar fare. Value: Coming up to New Jersey from Washington, DC, this place felt positively cheap. Overall: Not a horrible place, especially in the craft beer wasteland of South Jersey. Just donít expect too much, and you wonít be disappointed.

I agree with the other reviewers that this is as good as it gets on the south jersey shore, and had i rated this establishment in a south jersey vacuum, it would have gotten a 95%. While i thought the taplist was pretty good, i do have some "constructive criticism": 1) the online taplist was outdated. if you are not going to keep it up to date, tell folks it is not up to date and just a representative list. 2) it is impossible to tell what is on tap at the bar! there is no listing of beers on a piece of paper and no tap board. You need to walk over to the opposite end of the restaurant in the front with folks constantly walking in front and waiting for a table, and try to make out a chalkboard listing. very difficult to read. THEN is turns out that even the chalkboard listing is outdated. Guys, move the chalkboard over the the bar where the beers are and keep it up to date. 3) middle of the summer, 90 degrees outside. they have no kolschs, no craft pilsner, i think1 mediocre lager, in other words, no lighter session beers. i suggest the taplist be kept with the seasons in mind. in the food arena, i ordered a pizza. it took over an hour to get it. the quality was mediocre. i would not go for the food. i may have had a bad experience on an off night, and the this place certainly must get kudos for having craft beers, but there is definitely room for improvement.

This is the BEST (and almost ONLY) place at the Jersey shore I have stumbled into that has a great craft beer selection. There are a whopping 36 taps, and the couple I had tasted very fresh. Food was good as well - the thin crust, brick-oven pizza and steamers were particularly delicious. Everyone was friendly, as craft beer places are most often. They were a little understaffed (someone had unexpectedly quit) but the wait staff was courteous and prompt nevertheless. There was an outside area which I never made it to. All-in-all, this is a MUST if you are in South Jersey and I will absolutely be back!

went here on my wife and Iís honeymoon. This place rules, it was the best place to get a craft beer on tap and in bottles down here in Wildwood. The food was decent too and our waitress was beer knowledgable and speedy. This place is highly recommended if you in the area and the craft beer crave hits you!!!!!
