Review is for the Terminal 1, Concourse C one. Over many many trips through this terminal, I can honestly say this is the best option in either B or C, which isnít saying much. Very small and almost always packed. You are lucky to get a seat at any time that is remotely busy (which is most of the time). If you can find a bar stool, it is a fine place to kill some time, but good luck.

A very ho-hum experience, and probably not a place that Goose Island are all that proud to be associated with. Very typical bland airport bar/restaurant ambiance. Cramped space, bright lighting, blaring TVs. Thereís only 3 GI beers on tap (Matilda, 312, and Green Line) plus a few of the ubiquitous offerings from the ABI portfolio. The bottles arenít any more inspiring. The barís main trade seems to be food. Stuff like burgers and chicken tenders are available. I downed a $9 Matilda then got the hell out of there.

Standard airport bar that has four plain GI beers instead. Of the two or three the rest of the bars have

I went early in the morning, so it was pretty empty, and thus comfortable. Had a couple nice GI beers including Matilda, at about $9 each. A very reasonable airport bar. The beers were in good shape, the selection and prices ok, breakfast food looked good. Small, though, so like everyone says, I wouldnít want to try to get in here during rush hour. NOTE: Donít expect to find BCS. I was told they stopped carrying it.

I went to the one at C concourse. It was small, crowded, and uncomfortable. I counted 5 people behind the bar, and 3 of them did not appear to be doing anything. The other 2 could not be bothered to speed up or anything. It literally took me 23 minutes standing at the bar to get waited on.

What a joke. This is a product of Goose Island being bought out. They only have 4 goose taps - 312, Honkers, Green Line, and Matilda. They have some other bottles, but the bartenders have no idea what they are and have to fumble around the ice bucket. The servers know nothing about beer, and the draft lines were absolutely disgusting. My Matilda smelled like the trap on a Hobart dishwasher. I left my overpriced draft on the bar half full. I learned a lesson today. Donít order draft beer at an airport.

This place was ridiculous to me. Their taps were only OK, and not enough of them, especially since most were available nearly everywhere within 500 miles. The most ridiculous thing was that they charged over $8 for a 12 oz bottle of their nut brown ale. Something that would retail for ~$1.69 at any bottle shop. Awful.

Oct 2012. The best place for a beer at the OíHare airport. Unfortunately itís very crowded and both times I had to wait in a queue for 20 minutes to get in. Well, first time I waited, second time I skipped the whole place.

Food isnít good, so skip it. Service isnít that good either. Beer selection includes 6 Goose Island beers and I had Matilda. They do have Bourbon County Stout, but not the rarities you usually see on this the availability page. Bad timing, I guess. And itís pricy.

Nevertheless a crowded airport pub with better-than-average beers on tap.

One of the better places for an airport, but if you are expecting the same thing as Goose Clybourne or Wrigley, youíve got another thing coming. Food is pretty average and the service is not good. Ok selection of GI standards.

As a bar this sucks, as a place to spend some time on a lay over itís awesome! I missed the kitchen as I got in late but still got a Matilda on tap.
