82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 HopHater (2) Apple Valley, Minnesota | May 10, 2013 Sit at the bar. Hopefully Billy or Matt are Bar tending. Great Food and decent beer. Off the Vegas Strip always busy mostly locals. I walk a mile just to come here for food and beer. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 theisti (352) Leawood, Kansas | October 3, 2012 Visited for dinner shortly after arriving in Vegas. Easy to find on Paradise, behind the strip. Easy to get to with a car, plenty of free parking. Would be a bit of a hike from the Strip hotels, but not too crazy. Typical GB layout, primarily restaurant focused, though this did have a larger than normal rectangle bar in the middle. Outdoor seating was open, and very pleasant. Normal range of GB beers and food menu. Prices were GB normal, not Vegas strip normal, which was nice. | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 soul11man (54) Portland, Oregon | August 17, 2011 We had my sister’s Las Vegas wedding reception in their backroom and it was perfect. It was fun, they kept the beer flowing, the food was great and they had a decent selection. I find Gordon Biersch well crafted and very exact beers. They strive for clarity and excellence for a brewchain. I liked the inclusion of unusual varieties like Vienna and Bocks. We had a lot of fun for this special event so I cannot comment on the whole of the bar but if the service for our event was a reflection, I’ll give GB an excellent rating. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 ekoerper (37) Iowa | January 10, 2011 Nice atmosphere, good food, definitely a better value than most places around the strip. Decent selection of German-style brews. If you go expecting a decent hefe, bock, or pils, you won’t be disappointed. If you want adventurous/exotic craft brew, you won’t be finding any DIPA or imperial stout here. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 15/20 j12601 (262) Poughkeepsie, New York | August 29, 2009
The only thing that I felt was worth the time or money during my entire Vegas experience was this place. The beers were reasonably priced at $5 (versus the common 6-8 elsewhere for worse beer), with the sampler at $5 featuring a generous 5 pours of about 3-4 ounces. The food was solid, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. There were no video poker machines built into the bar, no flashing blinking lights, none of the gold covered crap-fest that is the rest of the city. Not too far from the strip, some solid lagers, good service, tasty food.
| 60 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 14/20 Strykzone (78) Wood River, Illinois | August 18, 2009 Stopped here and found a very nice restaurant / brewpub. Lots of people making lots of noise. A fun place. Food was good. Beer was pedestrian. Our waitress was not well informed. Decent beer, slightly better meal, but a nice atmosphere. | 78 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 15/20 Cletus (217) Connecticut | April 17, 2009 Stopped here for a quick dinner after visiting the Atomic Museum which is just around the corner. The place itself is a large typical brewpub. The selection featured well crafted lagers and the food was 1/2 price. Service was great. I also visited the location at Gate D at the airport which featured 3 of their taps and was also friendly. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 knightdr (21) Valrico, Florida | November 20, 2008 Had a rehearsal dinner here in a private room. Beer was appropriate for a wide range of beer drinkers. Food was very good. Service decent/not beer related. Beers were solid. | 28 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 1/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 3/20 Droptank (3) Spring, Texas | October 25, 2008 I was in Vegas recently and I thought I would stop in because I had never tried the beer before. I ordered a sample which was pretty good, but the service took away from EVERYTHING. Absolutely horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE service. I ordered a pint of the Blonde Bock after my sampler and never saw my waiter again. I had to go to the bar and order again, and our hummus appaetizer, which is uncooked mind you took longer to get than the people next to us who orderd steaks and such. I used to be a waiter and ty to give everyone in the service industry the benefit of the doubt, but I was burned sharply and probably will never stop by there agin. What a bummer | 26 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 4/20 MIBRomeo (141) Wisconsin | September 16, 2008 not much to say about this place, didn’t try the food.. service sucked, psuedo upscale atmosphere and not very good beer. |
