Off center, but I walked there from the train station in less than 20 min. Typical neighborhood beer garden (actually also with an in door restaurant/bar). The reason to go is Gose drink, and no one will regret. The beers are very good. Also one should not miss the proposed beer and shnapps blends. Excelent typical food. Personal and friendly service.

I love this place. It’s a 20 minutes walking distance from Hauptbahnhof, but when there the nice beergarten and the topclass Dollritzer Gose will make youi think it was worth. One of the best places I’ve been so far in Germany

Visited on a Sunday evening around 6pm, tram ride and walk from the city centre.
Sat in the lage beergarden on a slightly wet summers evening.
Not many people there, perhaps two other parties.
Service was fine, had the Ritterguts and a bottle or two.
I’d like to visit again on a busier day.

It was with reverence I made my first visit to Gosenschenke Ohne Bedenken, the place that revived Gose in the 1980s, on a cold September evening 2012. Unfortunately, neither the atmosphere (there was hardly anyone else there), nor the beer selection (only two Gose, and the one on draft I had already had at the Bayerischer Bahnhof) lived up to my expectations. But I could see that this must be a lively place on hot summer days, so I won’t write it off completely.

Best place for Gose. One of the few places to serve the delicious Dollnitzer Rittergutts Gose on tap. Nice garden. Friendly service. Go there.

The original "Ohne Bedenken", have visited the place several time between 2008 -2010. The inner pub in itself is cosy and has that old kneipe charm with beer plates on the wall and dark wood interior. Of course , this is where you get the famous Gose. During one of my sessions, I had a chat with Doctor himself, however I wasn’t too fond of the fact that I got served Bayrischer Bahnhof Gose instead Rittergut Gose and when ordering a second one, the other way around. Drinking Ritterguts Gose since 2007 on a weekly basis while living in Leipzig I sure know my Gose no matter what the Dr. Hannebach told me... The biergarten outside is ok with a view onto a side street. The food is ok, I had solianka soup for little money to go with my Gose.

The place where Gose was brought back to life in the 1980ies. Restaurant/pub with a traditional interior, lots of wood, and in the back a big beergarden. Leipziger Gose (Bay. Bahnhof) on tap, Döllnitzer from the bottle. Two more tapbeers and about 6 more bottled biers. Strongly recommended.

Nice, traditional-looking place with a nice, quiet biergarten outside. Busy inside, very quiet outside (when we were there, anyway). The beers are excellent. Food is typical German "Bürgerliches Küche", meaning hearty stuff of the sort you generally associate with Germany, but quite good.
A mandatory visit if you are in Leipzig, because of the Gose. This is where they ressurected the style.

In the northern part of Leipzig called Gohlis. Gose’s all they serve here - albeit with a dozen juices and syrups mixed in. Stick with the Gose "pur", though, and you’ll be much happier.
Local eats. Grilled food is hearty, Quarkkeulchen is excellent. Beer garden can seat 500, but it’s cozier than it sounds. Bit of a strange view, though.
Main entrance is via Menckestraße, however the Biergarten opens onto Poetenweg.
