The best selection in any off-licence in Cork, if not Ireland. Huge range of bottles, from Ireland, UK, US, Belgium, Germany and others too. So long as your not looking for something as rare as henís teeth, thereís a decent chance youíll find it in here. Great bargain bins as well, where you can pick up terrific beer thatís just past its sell-by date for as little as Ä0.70 a bottle (I just picked up 12 bottles of Brooklyn Lager and 4 bottles of Oyster Stout for just over a tenner!).
Only drawback is that service can leave a lot to be desired with the guys in there regularly enough having a grumpy day and not being the most helpful - that said, if you catch them on a good day, theyíd be happy to answer any questions you have.
Overall, a great shop and my usual shop for any craft beers of any nature.

I didnít go upstairs to the actual bar for some reason; but used the beershop twice over my weekend stop over in Cork.
They stock over 290 different beers, that is a huge amount for a beer shop in Ireland I believe.
The whole Weihenstephaner range was available, including the Vitus, a host of other German brews, Belgian, US and British too. A bit light on Irish beers, but to be honest, there arenít too many to stock.
Large glass fronted fridges held some beers the rest on shelves, plenty of lagers/pilsners to choose from if thatís your bag.
Iíd have been lost without this place, my nightcaps alone in the hotel being a semi-highlight of my stay.

Visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in May, this was by far the best beer selection we found in almost two weeks of touring around Ireland. Excellent selection, most of it seems to be in good shape, except maybe some of the clear British brews that looked a little dusty. Very friendly helpful staff kitted us out with a box or two of some really great finds. Absolutely worth visiting, go here for your beer buying! Nothing compared to it in Dublin.

Solid international selection including offerings from Germany, Belgium, UK, US etc. The guy who was there during the day was super friendly and was tending bar later at night. The other staff was okay as well. Nicely laid out. A couple of the English beers were closer to their expiry dates than I was willing to go for (especially in clear bottles) but much of the selection is in fridges as well. Prices seemed reasonable for everything. Would definitely return.

This place is a God send for the beer drinkers of Cork. Pretty decent selection of English ales, the owner claims that they probably have the largest in Ireland. A good selection of American, Belgium and German beers also, which are updated a little sporadically. The staff are very friendly and always willing to give advice and chat. Most importantly itís the only show in town here.
