Average selection. No service and no single bottles, since this was a grocery store. Prices seemed higher than other places. Unless you need groceries and are trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, I would shop elsewhere. Everything found here can be found at the other places for less.

I canít really add anything new to what anyone has said in the past, or in other ratings about this place - Whole Foods repackaged. The beer selection was decent. It wasnít as though they had nothing interesting, they just didnít have a lot of interesting things. Picked up an All Souls Ale, which is sold at all of the "big" beer stores in Missoula. Overall, itís decent, but I wouldnít expect to find a limited release here, or anything.

Pretty much a carbon-copy of the Whole Foods chain, including the wine and beer layout. In this case, the beer selection reflects that of a smaller Whole Foods-- one cooler, about twenty feet in length. The selection therefore is not huge, but of all the stops I made in Missoula, this place had the best "gems", including barrel-aged Bigfoot, and Ninkasi Barley Wine. I was not approached by staff (nor could I see anyone assigned to this area, so not sure how to rate this aspect). Prices are unsurprisingly higher.

Whole foods concept. Sadly there is no build a six offered.

As previously mentioned, this is basically a Whole Foods. Slightly less selection than Wordenís, but the prices were on average a bit lower here as well. Didnít interact with anybody, so not sure about the service. Overall, not the best beer store in town, but it is a good place with surprisingly reasonable beer prices.

Missoulaís answer to Whole Foods, basically. Smaller, not as homey as Wordenís, nor as interesting as Liquid Planet, but a solid place to stop while youíre in Missoula, as there is enough difference between the three stores to merit visiting them all, but this would be my third choice. They do everything well, but nothing brilliantly, prices are also generally higher than at Wordens or Liquid Planet. Still worth a look, though.

so itís whole foods-mode, thatís obvious. and a lot of the products and the layout seem to fit the bill. beer selection as well. a lot of regional 6 packs, some singles - a mix of locals and belgians. being the picky beer snob that i am (no apologies offered), i paced back and forth undecidedly... there really wasnít much here that I havenít tried or was interested in. sure i could have picked up a few more montana brown or amber ales, but i was looking more for IPAs and special releases. i know, iím that guy. instead i grabbed a hot sandwich and picked up some bitter root single hop on sale. fine work, sir.

Good selection, the store itself is a little too crunchy. Some beers here you canít find anywhere else in town.

Decent selection, not as nice as I had hoped though. Found a few things I didnít have but Wordenís is the best in Missoula followed by Liquid Planet . Been back several times now. Prices are better than Wordenís and they usually have some stuff that Wordenís doesnít.

Large selection, knowledgable staff, very helpful and friendly. Large selection of fine wines and beer, plus great food.
