Another excellent selection of beers and perhaps more UK stuff than Drinkstore but slightly higher prices across the board. Products well laid out with plenty of space to aid browsing but this perhaps removes some of the fun of the Aladdinís cave style shop. Handy for the Luas station.

A very good store, conveniently located just off the LUAS at the Ranelagh stop, the map below is wrong which shows it to be close to Dundrum. Nice ambiance in keeping with the town storefronts and interior is nicely lit. Beers begin on the right hand side as you walk in. Mostly English micros as you start, then German, then American and Irish. Some good finds that most places are not going to carry. Asked the guy behind the counter to recommend some good beers from England that I might not have heard of, he let me know that he didnít know too much but someone would be around tomorrow who did. So service is 50/50 depending on who is there. Prices are a little steep. I bought 4 500mL bottles for over 20 euro.

My local. Great selection, they are on top of new releases etc. Staff are hit and miss, sometimes they are interested, other times not. Shop itself is huge and nice for a browse. Slightly more expensive than some of the other great off licences around Dublin, but understandable given rents in its location.

Excellent off-licence with an impressive range of beers including most of the Irish craft beers as well as the British, American and European ones. Staff are knowledgeable and approachable. Itís a bit off the beaten track for me but I make it my business to go there at least twice a month.

Rivals Drinkstore for the title of best selection in the country. A huge selection of local and world beers all (thankfully) stored in open refrigeration units to keep them in decent condition. Lots of harder to find bombers from the states (from Goose Island and Great Divide especially), and they've just started to import some NZ beers themselves - they have exclusivity on Epic, Tuatura, Renaissance, and 8Wired in Ireland. Downside is that everything is very expensive (between 5-15% more than Drinkstore's prices, for example), but given the expensive postcode that Ranelagh is, that's understandable I suppose. An absolute gem of a place that's well worth a visit.

Great range of Irish and US/UK/Belgian brews with some genuine surprises! Plenty of Irish micros for half the price youíll see in the bars. Take Luas green to Ranelagh, out onto the street, turn right and itís a minute walk.

Excellent off licence in Ranelagh village. At least 50 beers, mainly from Belgium, Germany, USA and Britain. Stored chilled so ready to drink! Selection is rotated occasionally so worth checking back for some new bottles. Prices are a little high, as is typical in Dublin. Closes at 10pm. Also has a decent selection of wines from around the world.

One of the best off licences in Dublin. Carry a great selection of rare beers. Prices can be high, but there are some bargains. 6 Brooklyn Lagers for a tenner? Yes please.
