Unattractive building from the outside but better once you walk through the door. A modern bistro interior with the view of tanks through the glass windows. A dozen taps with sample pours available for a couple of dollars. The beer quality is mixed and none that really stood out. They mix things up with a few different styles. The bartender was very friendly and chatty and recommended other places to check out which was kind of her. Located in an odd part of town and somewhere unlikely to just stumble on, you have to know it’s here.

The brewery is in a 1970s looking industrial/commercial strip building with a nice spacious outdoor terrace and two nice looking moderne interiors - one has a view of the brewhouse behind the bar. Good friendly service from 2 servers gruff indifferent service from one, roughly 20 of their beers available. 10.50$ for a 4 beer taster which is pricier than in Toronto/Vancouver. A decent place, I liked it and wanna go back but yeah it is something of a wasteland at the moment though tons of condos are being built all around the area and tons of people cycling the canal popped in when I was there.

A great brewpub in an industrial area. As previously mentioned, it is somewhat far from the main part of the city and the immediate attractions are not very exciting (however it looks like they are constructing a new apartment complex, so the traffic through this place may increase). Plenty of outdoor patio seating and even the heavy dust from nearby construction did not stop most people from sitting outside. However, the inside was quite pleasant - lots of small tables close to each other. There is a fairly extensive beer list - probably 12-15 taps and a variety of low and high abv offerings. I enjoyed the ambree, chi orientale, vanilla/cafe stout, and cacao stout. The food was well prepared and tasty (I got a duck sandwich, which was very good). Service was slow-ish, but seemed on par compared to other Montreal brewpubs. Overall, I liked this place quite a bit. As a tourist, I’m less concerned about its location within the city as it’s a one-time-only stop, so that was not an issue for me. Definitely worth a stop for the beer though (and get food while you’re at it)

Interest spot in an industrial part of town. Clean, modern and lots of windows. The beers were diverse and tasty as was the food. The service was very good. If it were located a little closer to the downtown are this place would be very busy.

Slightly out of the way sat outside at the patio. Place is clean with decent but not great service (bit slow). Beers were OK. Average on all accounts.

An oasis in an industrial area of the last 50 years or so. Nicely appointed inside with working air conditioning and a nice bar, this could be a decent place in any city. The outside tent area for those braving the sun, the autobody shop neighbours. A long walk from downtown, Old Montreal, and the subway, it is not set up for this crowd. Nicely organized in the back, the place is efficient and plans a second downtown clone by way of expansion as a restaurant, firstly, that has beer different than the 3 brewers (Trois Brasseurs). And now the beer, it is for the most part basic, supplemented by extracts and puree and juices that does take up the taste but is of course not purist. There are some changes at the margin, with a recent success in using wild yeast however cherry juice changed this one. Also a good brown ale, however this brewer is now passing through. It remains to be seen how new brewers they will bring in can keep their own freedom and creativity.
