74 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20
Bar with a very nice tap selection with domestics and imports nicely represented. We went about 7 p.m. on a Saturday night and there were plenty of seats and the crowd was not rowdy. However, by about 9 p.m. it became a heavily college-aged crowd and was getting fairly rowdy, so we left. Had a burger that was very good, as were the waffle fries. When not busy the selection of beers makes this a great bar. However, if it is crowded, you may want to look elsewhere.

Mostly college aged Bud light drinkers and smokers, as earlier reviews have mentioned. Nice decor but the rest of the atmosphere detracts from it. Youíll get your beer, eventually, as, at night, they are almost always packed. So, itís hard to tell if they are knowledgeable. Food is good, when you are drunk. Overpriced food and drinks as well. Overall, itís a step above most bars in Baton Rouge but between the lousy atmosphere and about half the taps being macro lagers donít go out of your way for this one.

One of my favorite bars in Baton Rouge. It can get really crowded, which sends service down the drain. The beer selection is pretty impressive, but a tad pricey. Overall a great bar if you can stomach the headache of waiting for your drinks.

Smoky nasty crowded place. The service is horrible because they are so busy and the bartenders would rather shake their rumps at the, as one rater put it, "Bud Light swilling crowd" than serve old fogies past the age of 25. There is a decent selection of beers here but between the horribly greasy food, which is almost as hard to order from the service window as the beer is from the bar, the crappy service, the crowd, and all the smoke I would find another place to go.

The new "beer bar" in town. It would have a nice atmosphere, if it werenít always packed full of college kids shouting and swilling Bud Light. The service is hit or miss--I once lucked out and had a server ask me if I wanted my Duvel in a Chimay glass, which is a step up from their ubiquitous pint. The selection is rather disappointing, being that itís the place with the most taps in town--yes, there are quite a few, but most are crap. The bottle selection is slightly better, but still doesnít match other places in BR. The food is typical pub fare; i.e., greasy but good. Rather pricey. Iíve been 4-5 times with friends and have no desire to go back.
