Green Jug is definitely a hidden gem for beer geeks. I have found multiple rare releases here: prairie bomb, 3f intense red, etc. Super helpful and knowledgable staff that maintains an incredible selection without too much space. Definitely worth a drive from LA and beyond.

Not the hugest beer selection, but some pretty good stuff. Nice store in general, plenty of wines and spirits, a few meads, sakes, eiswines, etc. as well. Good and friendly service. Prices are a touch on the high side, but fairly average for the most part. A few things on the shelves that I havenít seen elsewhere which was cool.

I live about 2 1/2 miles from The Green Jug. I moved to the area about a year ago and it has quickly become my "go to" bottle shop. Now, admittedly, the San Fernando Valley can be a bit of a beer wasteland, but places like the Jug are going a long way to change that. This is a pretty big store, well lit with an easy to navigate layout. The big key to the store though, the reason that makes it my first stop, is the fact that probably 95% of the beer in the store is stored in their fridges. Itís kept properly cold and out of the light from the moment it leaves the distributorís truck until you carry it out to you car. This is key for a store in IPA heaven (aka California). The service is also top notch. I was first introduced to the store when I called to see if they carried Firestone Walkerís Parabola, which had its first bottled release right around when I moved to the area. They didnít have any yet, but the gentleman on the phone took down my cell number. About a week later I got a call informing me that two bottles were waiting for me at the store. This is for a first-time customer, not a regular (although that has definitely changed). Not to sound cheesy, but they had me shortly after I answered my phone and said "Hello". Keep up the fine work!

Visited mid day. Large size liquor store that reminds me a bit of Mr. Gís in Dallas. Easy parking. People there seemed quite knowledgeable about beer. Really good selection of beers, including a few things I have yet to see at other stores in LA. Sake selection is okay. Really not a bad stop at all if you are in the area.
