It seems that Aldo changed the name of his place: You will find "Birre da tutto il mondo" in big letters outside the bar instead. Wide selection of italian and international craft beers. Expect to pay 5 to 6€ per bottle. Great location next to a small canal away from the touristic crowds.
Nice bar a bit outside of the tourist area. The place is not overly big, but selection is quite good. Not so much the tap list, its all about the bottles here. When I asked the guy behind the bar about a beer list he just pointed me to the end of the bar area where they have 6-7 fridges full with bottles. Half of them Italian only stuff. Internationals were quite good too, of course the bigger names like Brewdog, Mikkeller or To Ol, but also quite a few other smaller ones, also a good selection of sour beers (Boon,..). Overall very recommended place, especially also for the nice Italian selection (I visited some beer shops that had less Italian beers than Aldo).
relaxing place outside the turist area. lots of tables just otside, good bottle selection. the owner is helpful, in case you ask something. although italy is not famous for its beers, in this place you can try different types of italian ipa and double ipas, each costing 6 euro. a must visit in venice.
This place is definitely bottle focused, with a nice selection from around the world. Chain smoking bartender speaks little English. Food is kind of gross. Beer is good. Lots of tables outside, plus a game room inside that is unbearably hot in the summer. Lindemanns for the ladies.
On a bustling local-centric strip in Venice. The hours listed are definitely wrong, since I don’t think Aldo opens until 8pm and not at all on Sundays. He’s got a little case of fried bits you can order to satisfy your hunger, but if you want a meal then hit one of the solid, non-touristy, spots on the same drag (like Al Timon three storefronts down). Aldo has four taps but three large fridges with bottles. His selections is very well curated and could have kept me busy for a week. The outdoor seating is also nice. Aldo himself is awesome, a quiet guy who doesn’t speak much English, but his passion is obvious. Prices are high for Europe, but you’re in Venice. Check this place out, you won’t be sorry.
