Alright, oddly opened front space showing off all of the produce and such right at the sidewalk in this semi sketchy part of downtown. So I start winding through the short aisles of beer and along the long beer filled cooler. This is another place with a terrific selection. I could go nuts in here. Oh no. Thereís a short barleywine aisle. Well that makes it easy, I love this. I grabbed five that are new to me (and sweet baby jesus it is hard to find new barleywines to try) and left behind a few that were close to or over $20 to keep the budget under control. They also have other big well aging styles grouped together. I could easily blow through a bunch of cash here and aside from the empty wallet afterward be happy as hell about the selection. If youíre downtown and already riding the trolley you may as well head over here as it will be worth the trip. God thereís a lot of good stuff here.

Beer shop in a downtown location. Massive selection of beer, lots of US and european breweries. Saw a lot of rare stuff too. quite a few sours. Also was looking for some RR, which I didnít see on the shelf, when I ask for it they went and got it from the back! *hint* *hint* Overal a pretty damn good beer shop!

Very nice selection, but only staff available was at register. Beers sorted by style, which is a nice touch. Seemed pricey, but it is a downtown location with high end merchandise. Worth a stop (or two).

Parking is a b, even on Sunday. So-so neighborhood. The grocery store is nice enough, itís clean and the beer is easy to find. The service isnít great, though, I mean, itís a bottle shop in a grocery store. I like that most of it is chilled, and the selection is actually extremely good. Value is pretty good, some cheaper local bombers. Overall a solid bottle shop.

The sign outside claims to have a 1000 bottles and you believe it once you see the coolers. Almost all beers are chilled except for most of the stouts. They focus on local stuff, the number of bombers will leave you dizzy. I asked for some assistance and got some great suggestions of stuff Iíve never heard of. Didnít insult me by suggesting common stuff. The prices are fair. They do have rare bourbon and Cantillon but you are going to pay $60 for a 750 or $30 or 375. A little much for me, but what was the last time you say Cantillon on the shelf? If I was downtown Iíd come back despite being a little light on the 6 packs, more bomber focused.

Superb! Tons of beer. Awesome service. Really a fun place. Warning, walking in this neighborhood at night can be iffy!

Visited on Monday 21/04/14 around 6pm. Solid beer shop for a downtown location. No way is there 1,000+ bottles but the total is comfortably in the hundreds maybe between 4 and 600.
Plenty of CA picks, European numbers and tasty out of state breweries like HOTD and Cascade to name a few. A good amount of beers are in fridges if you require immediate refreshment. Service was so so, 2 girls behind tills, zero shop floor presence, they just sat and chatted at the tills even when there were no customers.
Overall a solid bottle shop.

Nice spot downtown. Inside a grocery store. One grocery aisle packed with tasty beer. Good range of local and regional, and some pretty decent international as well. Prices were surprisingly good as well.

Place is located downtown. Had very little problems finding it. Parking could be a challenge but if you go there on a weekend, you shouldnít have too many problems. Beers are located in the far right corner of the grocery store. They have a great selection of local, regional bees and imports. One of two places I go to shop for beers in the San Diego metro area. Prices are a little high but selection is top notch. Iíll definitely be back whenever Iím in the area.
