Checked out while driving aimlessly through KC on our trip out to Colorado. Good varied selection, lots of local and regional stuff along with some great imports. Prices seemed average.

Pretty good selection but not as good as another Gomers in town. Pretty good selection that get some limited releases. Located near the Plaza which is convenient for my travels.

Checked this place out after the Foundry since it was so close. Not a ton of craft beer, but what they did have was decent. Not a destination, but serviceable if you are in town for business nearby and want to take something back to your hotel. Odd that they had a singles section where you had to buy 6 and it was not really that big of a selection.

Nice clean and well lit new store. Very friendly staff, but calling to ask about a beer can be troubling as they dont seem to know what they have or what they are selling at times. Smaller selction, but you can always find something unique. Their pricing if you sign up for the membership thing are SUPER low. Best liquor store in the area, hands down. Not the place to get a limited release though as their extensive customer base makes for small supply. To be fair, after a special release they seem to put things on the shelf if they have any left. It is always a couple weeks after release, but it can make for some unexpected finds. I once bought 2 barrel aged old ruffians off the shelf for example.

Best of the three Gomerís I have visited. Not the biggest selection in KC, but decent. Clean store and well organized. Staff was friendly. Seemed to be very busy. Prices were good. If you are in this part of town you should stop in.

Recently rebuilt and bigger than the previous store. Pretty good selection, a good amount of bombers and 6-packs. This is the only liquor store I have found in the closeby vicinity to Westport/Plaza that has a good beer selection. I tend to like going to Royal Liquors on State Line more, because they have a little better selection, but I go here quite a bit because it is so close to my apartment.

This place was just rebuilt, and itís now a shiny and modern store with a fairly big beer selection. Stuff was well organized. Solid selection of local and regional stuff with a decent dose of Belgian, Germans, etc. Very convenient to Wesport, easy to hit while youíre exploring the Foundry, the Green Room. Having a good beer store here really makes Westport a much better beer destination that downtown KC, imho.

Basically a big liquor store with a pretty good selection of beers - both American micro and import. Some of your usual suspects for good beer, but also a few I have not seen before. Worth checking out if you are in the area. Seemed to be fairly reasonably priced.

WAS: Tacky, a bit disorganised. For the area it is the biggest selection. NOW: Completely rebuilt. Spacious, well lit, still an excellent selection and very well located. Not more than 25 minutes from most of the 20 KC Metro counties. Staff, while amenable, still need extensive training. But this is an issue in most craft beer stores. Bud and Miller are drunk in large quantities by the undiscerning. Staff need more knowledge for the craft beer market. You want repeat business for people who will pay more for the product. It is just good business.

This is a very small liquor store with lots of stuff crammed in. They have a descent selection considering their space limitations. You can usually find a rare gem here that you cant find elsewhere.
