Dedicated, free parking lot. Nice Applebeeís atmosphere. Pretty busy for a Friday night. Service was fantastic and desserts were worth the trip. Pricing is reasonable also

Stopped on a Monday night to grab some dinner with a friend. I like the ambiance and look of the place, small circular bar, restaurant around the back big glass windows to look into the brew house. Food is overpriced IMO when you start getting into the 17$ chicken dinners its too rich for a brewery. On site parking was nice, our food order came out incorrect with my wifeís pizza being slathered in relish she had asked for on the side. Beers are of course good. tap list isnít huge 10 things on tap while we were there, mostly CBC stuff, some other local Ohio stuff which was nice, the food prices would keep me from coming back here again.

Iím pretty sure this is the only brewery in Columbusí Brewery District, so we popped in here for a beer and food before a show in downtown Columbus. The place has a restaurant, bar, and patio area, and seems to be just a couple years old or so. There were 4 house brews on tap, the two flagships (IPA and Pale Ale), a double IPA, and a kellerbier. There were 6 or so guest taps, too, with a greater variety. Kind of odd to have so few house beers that are all fairly similar. The food was okay, a little disappointing. The service was friendly and attentive. I donít know, I donít have a whole lot to say about it, except that every brewpub Iíve been to in Columbus has been completely average.

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon. The parking lot for the place was more than sufficient for the time I was there. I was able to walk in and sit at the bar without having to wait. The bartender was immediately over to see me and let me know what was on draft. The sampler I ordered was assembled and to me in a short amount of time and I was left to take my notes without being bothered. At the end I was asked what my favorite was and then I was able to get my bill and depart. If I were a local, I could see me visiting here fairly often. My only suggestion to them would be to have more of their own beer on draft. About half of their taps were other local beers, which is cool, but I came there to sample their beer and about half of what they had on tap, was also the more common stuff that gets distributed. Those beers are pretty good, though, so I didnít mind too much having them in the sampler.

This was a surprise stop for me. This place gets some mixed reviews, so I wasnít sure what to expect when I went there, but I really enjoyed the beer here. Typical bar atmosphere, although they did have some seats outside (with the construction going on across the street, not much of a view though). It was a fairly small crowd on a Sunday afternoon, but apparently they had just expanded their hours to include Sundays so maybe most customers didnít know that yet. They had a number of beers on, including lots of hoppy selections - 2 IPAs, a IIPA, wheat IPA, and hoppy pale ale - all of which were very tasty. The food menu is mostly up scale pub grub, including sandwiches and pizzas. The Santa Fe pizza was pretty tasty. Overall, I really liked this place, seems to be the top spot to go in Columbus.

Nicely built place, a microcosm in design and in business plan of Amsterdam back home. Mostly hoppy beers in, brewer can sell as much as he makes. Good beer for late in the aft with a professional crowd. Nice square bar, patio leads into urban space.

When I visited: Late January 2013.
What I had: CBC IPA and Bodhi Double IPA on tap, spinach and artichoke dip, orange glazed salmon, buffalo chicken pizza and white wine for the lady, key lime pie to split.
What I liked: Lively atmosphere, diverse crowd, heated patio was better than we expected, speedy and competent service, solid food when cooked, growlers to go, outstanding house beers.
What I disliked: Small draught list with no guest taps from what I could tell, had to return my undercooked salmon (second one was much better), a bit pricey compared to other places, strange hours for a brewpub as it closes at 11-12ish even on the weekend.
Would I go back? Most likely.

First time to CBC. Very nice server with good beer knowledge. Also quickly introduced menu specials and beer specials. Quick return with beers (a flight and a Pale Ale.) Order an app of shrimp cocktail. Very good for Ohio. Split an order of the Crab Cakes for dinner. Very good. Beer is awesome. Bought a growler of Sohio Stout. We will return next time in town.

Ambiance was a bit like a chain brewpub, but everyone was in nicer clothes; we felt underdressed. Good food, beers were a bit better than average, decent enough service, location was in an improving neighborhood; worth the stop for dinner.

Visited twice during a recent trip - once late afternoon on a Thursday, again around 8ish on a Friday night. Location is semi industrial, with some development creeping in across the street. Very much set up as a bar / restaurant stuck to the front of the brewery. Ambiance is pretty straightforward, bigger bar, tables around the corner towards the back. I sat at the bar both times, and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. The beers are solid (I believe they had 7 different beers on), and I had a pizza which was tasty, though certainly nothing special. Worth checking out.
