Good points - interesting decor (loads of random stuff hanging from roof), great selection of Brodies beers that are otherwise hard to come by. Bad points - loud football on, laddy crowd, I found the staff a bit rude. Overall, I wasn’t fussed. Good for ratebeer tickers but not a great pub in itself. The favourable score is a result of the decent selection only.

Met Colin here for a drink around 4:30 on a week day. Arvo crowd was starting to pile in. Small but longish sort of room with plenty of seating and showing highlights of the football. My kind of place! Service was efficient and concise. Selection consists of pretty much Brodie’s beers. But a wide array from the brewery. Varying styles with the odd guest brewer too, in this case Alpha State. Good value is an understatement. Got a half of Big Mofo and half of the guest tap for 5 quid. I like it and will definitely revisit. Colin also said the range changed quite regularly

Lovely Victorian style corner pub towards the centre of Soho close to Carnaby Street. I only ever went in here after work during my time in London, and it was always very much an after-work crowd. It has an excellent Brodies ale range in both cask and keg (although can’t remember it too well so will have to revisit in the future) - but as expected being in the centre of the centre it is expensive.

We visited here (me & Loz) on Saturday 14th December 2013. We had eaten at the Comptoir Lebanese restaurant on the corner off Broadwick St opposite (v.good btw) It was a Saturday night so rather busy but it was a friendly and enjoyable place to nip in for a quick beer. We had Dalston Black and an IPA on keg both were excellent, I am sure they had others that I’d not rated but when it is crowded with standing roon only I am less inclined to rate and tend to go back to old faves. The layout seemed long rectangular with the bar in front (running down the LH sude) as you enter, I would be more descriptive but it was just too busy to appreciate the surroundings. Will pop by for a return visit at some point.

Traditional English pub. Nothing special, but their selection of Brodies can be interesting. Had Brodies London Sour Raspberry edition. Worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

Great to find a selection of Brodies cask and keg in the centre of London. Usually have some of their more experimental/interesting beers (e.g. Big Mofo Stout, the London Sour range, saisons etc.) as well as some standard pintable cask ales like Old street Pale, Kiwi and Bethnal Green Bitter. The beer range & decent prices make this a must visit, though be prepared that the ambience can be a bit rough and ready if they are showing sports on the screens. Service can be comically grumpy or friendly, but is generally fine, apart from one occasion where a barman refused to accept a cask ale had gone off, which is a shame as it’s their own ale they are showcasing so you’d hope they’d always want it to be in top condition! But generally condition has been fine and you can usually squeeze in somewhere to sit even when it’s busy.

Old school pub just a short walk away from the busy shopping streets.More or less empty when we came shortly before closing time tuesday night. 6 or 7 Brodies casks + some standard macro lagers aswell. Most of the casks in good condition, allthough one was slightly sour. Friendly service and fairly priced. Gents room could do with a good cleaning, since the whole back of the pub was smelling of urine from it.

Small pub just away from the main shopping areas, perfect for a break away from the bustle, good selection of Brodie’s beers as you’d expect all in top condition. Friendly staff.

The only thing that let this fine pub down was the impatient, almost rude staff determined to serve me before I had made a choice, from a good list of Brodies beers. It was mid afternoon and was quiet, it was not as though I was holding people up! But still a nice pub with excellent ale.
