It is small and often crowded. The draft selection somewhat limited. The service is good. The taps are not as exciting as they used to be. There is a new chef and the food- at least the specials have improved overwhelmingly.
Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon, and we had burgers with fries and some nice beers to go with the food. Service was quick, jokingly and friendly. Itís a narrow and long room with seating for around forty people, and thereís also room for approx twenty people at the bar. Some not so interesting beers on tap, but quite a few good ones too.
An overall good restaurant/bar in the center of things on a busy pedestrian street, downtown Newport. The waiter mixed our food up but I did not mind the dish I had. There was a fair but small beer selection.
Chill little bar for downtown Newport. Selection is not exceptional, but very good. Vibe is low key and seems a bit more like a locals kind of place than for tourists. Food is pub by but solid enough. Definitely a worthwhile stop if youíre in town.
Best little bar in Newport - without a doubt! Very laidback place, nice beer list, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was also very tasty - best guacamole I have had. Had a Laqunitas and Firestone Walker while I was there. I will be back!
Good times always at this local pub! Not the place you go to get your hands onto the worldís most extreme specialties, but the tap AND bottle menu is fun enough. Itís the place you want to have more than one - perhaps the place for a night out of partying while not having to sip on a heineken the whole time. Itís dishes are cheap, but good. but definitely "bar food." all around a good time. sometimes a bit too packed, but hey - good for them!
