Another neighborhood corner bar, but in a hip a neighborhood. Extensive selection of taps and bottle, something for every taste. Food not bad either, good beer/nosh combos abound. Didnít leave disappointed, just full.

Very impressed with this unassuming local bar. Quiet, semi-hipster...but donít let that dissuade you. Great selection on draft and in the cooler. Donít tell too many people - this is still a hidden gem.

Yeah, this place definitely used to be a corner dive bar, but itís got some new life in it. The decor could use a little more updating or whatever, but it works fine if thatís what theyíre going for. The service was quick and helpful, the selection was good, with nice choices on tap and in the bottle. Chalk board rotation. Value was good, I think their happy hour specials are $1 off all drafts. Overall a pretty good spot if youíre in the neighborhood (close to I-95, too).

This used to be the old Raw Dawgs. This is a great new local bar in S. Philly. They have increased the tap lines- all craft now, great selection of locals, seasonals, one-offs, and a couple weird odd-ball selections- my friend around the block says they are constantly rotating beers so that is great. Prices were very good- especially $1 off pints at Happy Hour. Even better deals on Prima when the Phillys play- $3 pints. I had the new dogfish red and black, the new weyerbacher Diamond IPA, and some Bear Republic Mach 10. There were a few others on the list I hadnt had before but we didnt have enough time to drink everything we wanted. Bottle list is good and prices were very good too- 4 russian river bottles (damnation, redemption, salvation and something else)for about $10 each is good. Service was very good although it was nearly empty on an early saturday afternoon. Atmosphere is pretty standard for a corner bar in south philly, but it was nice. Food seemed like basic pub food, we just split some cheesy tots which were good. Overall, this is a great place in South Philly and I cant wait to go back.
