Second stop on my recent trip to the KC area. Very large store. Easy to find. Large beer selection, although somewhat limited. Service was non-existent. Came out with only one six-pack.

Finally visited this store. Been across the street many times visiting the only Russian food store in town. Why the wait? Well,. there really isnít much need to visit a KS store in KC. But finally visited and it was nice. Big clean store, the beer seemed well taken care of. Got everything KS has but pretty small singles section, so its still not as good as Cork n Barrel in Lawrence. Also, not as good as the better stores on the MO side. However, nowadays KS does have a few beers that MO doesnt so worth a visit for the true hunters. Price are also very good.

Huge liquor store in the suburbs of Kansas City. Nice selection of beers. Picked up beers from Free State, Boulevard and Deschutes, along with some UK beers. Helpful staff, but a bit busy.

Very large store with a nice selection (for Kansas). Singles selection is small. Belgium selection was fair. Found nothing unusual. Prices looked decent. Still prefer Lukas.

This is now my local corner store, so Iíve been here several times since our most recent move. Large amount of space. Selection represents most beers available in this part of the state, as well as fair prices. A few of the more limited edition beers around here can be found. Single bottle selection is definitely the best feature but could use some better organization, with the mixed six selection a bit smaller than I would prefer. Plenty of cooler space is a bonus, virtually all 6-packs are refrigerated. Staff is non-existent; youíre on your own here, unless you count the checkers up front. Overall, Iím content to have a place of this caliber so nearby (Also has a decent selection of single malt scotch.)

This and Lukas are the nicest of the 4 area bottle shops I have went to and had the lowest prices on top of it. They have Bush De Nuits for $31 which is pretty good. Decent singles selection, but it is smaller than Lukasís. Solid selection of both regular and seasonal brews.

Surprising large craft beer selection. Absolutely chocka with top end brews. Knowledgeable staff who evidently do a bit of brewing themselves.
