This is a small tap room but did not need to be bigger, Nice décor and I really liked my visit. Great tour and highly recommend if your anywhere near it. Don’t let my score scare you its probably low.

Had a nice time drinking a couple pints here on a Sunday morning. It is just a small tap room attached to the brewery, no food and nothing fancy. It’s clean, well lit and the staff is friendly. There are ten or so Half Acre beers on draft which includes most of what they can and then also a few of their draft only brews. Everything was available as single samples and as half pints, which is nice. I might complain there’s no guest taps but, really, I am visiting Half Acre to drink Half Acre so no big deal. The store next door offers growler (and half growler) fills and samples as well. This is a popular and small spot so try to come at an off time to avoid lines and crowds.

A really nice taproom. It was packed when I was there.. But I stood beside the ’bouncer’ and had a beer with him. You can get good delivered to the taproom and they had 8 of their beers on tap including a few seasonals. Great spot.

What a highlight from a boys beer trip. Beer is 1st class. Loved the gin barrel aged Pilsner especially. Food was available to order from surrounding restaurants - great idea. Very cool merch also

This place was fucking amazing. Very small for a brew pub but the right size given the comfort level. Great range of beers, awesome service and the ability to buy local take away and eat it in the bar. Nice feel about this place. Better than goose island

Really good beers. Parking can be a bear. Free wifi. 10 beers on today. Smallest size is 8 oz, but they are $3-$4 bucks. No flights offered, which is bullshit. No food.

From the outside this bland brick building doesn’t look like much but on the left you have a cool taproom filled with locals, friendly helpful staff(we got a recommendation for one of the best Chicago hot dogs in town Murphy’s from the bartender who even called to check how late they were open - now that is service!), well priced samples and an all-around cool friendly vibe. On the right you have their gift shop+growler station full of cool Half Acre artwork all over the walls, nice looking goods and equally friendly staff. A must visit for anyone doing the round of breweries in Chicago.

Great place with all around solid brews and frequently a spectacular one. Service is top notch though it does get a bit tough when they get busy - which is fairly frequently. The store next door is a great place to sample a few of the brews and grab a growler fill or a to go of either their year rounds or the every rotating bombers of the limited and one off brews.

Very low key taproom in a quiet neighborhood just north of Irving Park Road. Family style setup where you may end up sharing long tables with others. Bar seats like 10, but is quite an impressive piece of stone. Bartenders are quick, knowledgeable, and more than happy to talk beer. Like 10 of their own on tap, and all seem to be solid plus. Tour is supposed to be awesome but I have not made that yet as is 11 AM Saturday only and is usually a line...

A small place... Quite small, & packed, but still able to find a nice spot to stand next to a shelf to hold my beer. Good service for being so busy. Selection might seem small compared to other places, usually around 8 to 10 beers on tap? However, this is a quality over quantity issue, because the beers I had on tap here ended up being the best beers of my entire trip to Chicago. The cellared 2012 Big Hugs was great & the fresh Space IPA was even better. So I have to bump up the selection a point for that. I wanted to buy a tulip but they said they were sold out... It’s the same tulip they serve the in-house beers in, but sadly I could not convince them to sell me one of those :( Very nice prices, all beers available in an array of sizes. No food, but the beer is great. Despite the small size & smaller than average number of taps, this ended up being one of my favorite places to stop in Chicago. Check it out!
