I may be biased because I love their beer but the GLB brewery and retail store are a great place to drop by to get your fix of the latest GLB craft offerings. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the selection is always good and all beer is priced very reasonably given itís quality. GLB beer is now readily (and thankfully) available at the LCBO and many local (and not so local) bars and restaurants, but the brewery and retail store are the place to go if you need to stock up.

Industrial area just off the highway. Tap room bottle shop that offers a tasting flight and whatever they have for sale. As people mentioned, worth going for special editions, but no reason otherwise. Helpful geek staff are very nice.

Yes, the Great Lakes specialty brews are some of the best around, but their "storefront" is pretty sad. A wall fridge usually has a few of their brews in bottles/can or growlers now.

Always a good place to stop by if youíre in the area. They always have some seasonals or one-offs that are tasty and fresh. Nothing but good things to say about this brewery. They have a tasting room with a few of their beers on tap. One of the better breweries in Toronto area.

A hell of a spot just off the Gardiner. Itís got a small retail shop/tasting room up front with a bunch of coolers housing their products. Phone first to see what is in the coolers because it can be either their normal lineup - which, although tasty, you neednít drive to Etobicoke to enjoy. On the other hand, if theyíve released a bunch of their specialty products, youíre in for a treat. These guys know how to brew and some of the specialty beers can hold their own against anything happening in North America. I hope they bring back the project X events, but even if they donít, you canít really go wrong here.

Way out in the middle of nowhere. I phoned and they told me they had a bottle of deliverance but they didnít once I got there - just the predictable bottles of red leaf lager, Devilís pale and other beers you can easily find in the lcbo. There were two bottles of a Belgian Wit from project X for $8 each. They give free samples from four taps - they had the regular lineup plus their seasonal pumpkin beer. The prices of the regular line-up is also exactly the same price as the lcbo. Donít waste your time unless they have a project X bottle you really want to get ahold of. And even then, double check.

When I visited: May 2012. What I bought: Bombers of the 25th Anniversary Robust Porter and Harry Porter and the Bourbon Soaked Vanilla Beans, glassware. What I liked: clean, open and inviting interior with a fridge full of regular brands and one-offs and several taps in the middle of the store. Friendly service from the girl at the cash till, parking out front. What I disliked: Their core lineup could stand to be more interesting, and it would be great to see at least one of the specialty brews on tap (like at Half Acre). Would I go back? Yes.

Nice little area for the retail store. Never been on a tour but you can always try their beer. Never talked to the staff, every time ive gone they just sit behind the desk. The selection is awesome if you can get there when they have some of their Project X stuff in, only problem is that it doesnít last long.

No tour available on our visit, as toffsbury mentioned. But 4 samples available in the store, which is nice, and friendly knowledgable staff. One non-LCBO beer available, but itís the worst one (Golden Horseshoe Lager). Crazy Canuck smelt and tasted better fresh from the store than it does from an LCBO can. Relatively large selection, considering itís just one brewery, with rotating seasonals, and one-offs. Have to try a Project-X sometime.
