Visited in 2012. The place has a nice atmosphere and some decent beers. However the bartenders where complete morons. My friend pointed out that his tap beer was infected with diacetyl (confirmed by me and several comercial brewers) and asked if he could get something else. He ended up getting yelled at by the staff in a very rude way. We where quite a big group and decided to leave.

This pub is the main reason for why I stayed at Hotel Uppsala. A good choice! I started with the "After work" offer; a hamburger and a draught beer for 149 kronor. This offer runs to 19.00 every day, maybe thats why the pub was rather crowded early in the afternoon? Nine interesting guest beers from Mission, Harbour, Summer Wine and Burning Sky and of course several from the local brewery Slottskällans. You can also try 4x18 cl from tap at the price of 139 kronor. Good service, no TV, no music, just good beer! But, closed for summer throughout July... (Visited June 25th 2014)

This pub is attached to a hotel and is quite cosy, but it is not that big and get can get crowded quickly. They usually have some good guest beers on tap from the likes of Ballast Point, Coronado, Summer Wine and Thornbridge.

Decent place located on the outskirts of central Uppsala. ~7 micro taps and a decent selection of bottles, mainly english and american. Staff is nice and professional, food is whats expected. Generally good prices

cosy, scottish themed bar attached to the hotel above, large selection of draught and bottled beer though mostly mainstream. after work beer and free snack food from 5 - 7. Tends to attract quite a cosmopolitan crowd and can get very busy at times, goood atmosphere

A good looking bar connected to the hotel next door. the usual beer on tap makes the place somewhat boring. A decent bar but really not a place if you want to have some new and exciting beers

A hotel bar with an ok beer and whisky selection. Some free after work snack food from 17-19 as long as you buy a beer. Not so exciting taps and quite static selection of bottles. Crowed at Wed when they throw a popular music quiz. Somewhat international crowd since many from the adjacent hotel drop in.

As with its sister pub in Kalmar, this is a so-called scottish theme pub, doubling as a hotel bar. The staff does not know that much about beer, the food served is OK, but not more. A large selection of beers and whiskies can not hide the fact that this is a standard bar trying to pose as something it isn’t.
