A beautiful drive from Montreal, quite easy to find compared to what iíve heard. I arrived mid afternoon and there were only about 4 purchases in front of me. Made my purchase and ordered my taster, so i figured we should be out in an hour or so. No. Extremely slow growler filling. This particular time they had ~8 growler options so I think a lot of people were getting them, but my god....so slow.
The employees were all extremely friendly and helpful and iím sure have to deal with a lot of garbage. A nice place, i wish the tasting room has been open.

This rating reflects mainly on the purchasing experience. Long line. Loooong. Their beer is obviously spectacular, but man it canít be more painful to buy it. This rating is from pre-Reno notes that I forgot I had, so perhaps things are better now. Really wanted to love the place, but the long lineup really soured my experience. May try again if ever in the area. Love the beer though.

Got to check this one off the bucket list. The place isnít as exciting as the beer. Getting there was fun. Gravel parking area. You walk into a wooden building with an open room and concrete floors. Wait in one and buy samples. The line tastes some time but itís no biggie because youíre drinking awesome beers. Our selection was all hoppy stuff except for Earl. Would have liked to have a saison thrown in the mix. No bottles available when we were there. Still worth the trip. The beer is amazing.

Made the long road trip from Columbus, Ohio to Hill Farmstead - with a layover in Rochester NY, to stay with another RBian (who joined me on the trip to VT). The roads to get here - once your off the highway, are horrible...especially when wet, in our case. Multiple parking sections near the brewery. We arrived a little early on a wed. - 4th and 5th in line. Soon we were being served flights from the draft - 2oz pours...a nice touch while waiting. Staff was incredibly nice, personable, and into the work they were doing. I could see the process of waiting, placing and receiving orders to take quit sometime if more people were there. It took us 45min. in all. Ambiance - sure your in a beautiful outside environment, but all your really experiencing is a gravel parking lot, and an open room with cement floors and walls - with a couple of registers, taps, and cases of bottles. Selection of course is great for HF beers, but thatís about it, and it was either IPA or saison. Also available were 2 bottles of Crooked Stave. Value was excellent, "normal" to below "normal" growler fill prices, and 750 ml bottles were $10 and $13. Overall, an enjoyable experience. If HF were more widely available, I would probably never go back....but since it is not, I would definitely return, maybe in a year or 2.

Best beer in the world - itís true... Yes, the lines are long, and itís in the middle of nowhere, and some of the reviews Iíve read complain about dirt roads and no wifi.... Ahh, the city folk. Truth is that itís worth it. You drive away with the best beer you can get and get to taste while you wait. Stop complaining, or stop coming - love me some Hill Farmstead!

Obviously, the beer is great. Prices for growler fills are insanely cheap given the quality. Staff was extremely friendly, but it took about 2 hours to get my growlers filled. Not entirely sure what they need to do differently, but there has to be a way to speed that process up. Outside of that itís pretty hard to find anything wrong with this place.

Finally made it to this beer mecca. I got there about 30 minutes after opening and it took me two hours before I got my beer. Four people working but they could have easily utilized one or two more to keep things going. Two of the employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and two were not terribly friendly, but they were doing less customer focused things so CS was overall great. Ambiance is nice enough, light woods, farmhouse feel. The golden lab Charlie was wandering around, obviously overjoyed by the number of people he was getting to meet. That was nice. 4 samples for $5 while youíre in line. I tried Edward, Susan, Harlan and Galaxy, all were as excellent as you would expect. Growler fills are reasonable for the glass and for the beer. No bottles available at my visit, save for two Crooked Stave guest bottles. This goes without saying, but, this is an essential stop and worth the hike to get here.

Great beer, nice people behind the counter. Always a nice selection of drafts and very affordable prices on growlers and bottles. Some of the rarer bottles can get pricey but for the most part very affordable especially for how desirable the beers are.

Whatís to be said that hasnít already? I finally made it to Hill Farmstead. Beer is obviously the best out there. The growler line can move a bit slow at times, but we got there early enough that we were in and out in a half hour after opening. Prices for growler fills were very reasonable. Great experience.

This is on the outskirts of e middle of nowhere, and isnít going to be stumbled across; it is definitely an intentional destination. As good as the beer is, it is as inefficient as it possibly could be. A forty person line took us 2.5 hours, and there is a limit of 3 growlers per person. That is inexplicable. The beer delivers though.
