46 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 10/20
Just a middle-ager bar. A dozen beers on tap, none of the bottles are hard to find for the area. If youíre looking for a band and a divorcee, then youíre probably in the right place. Bathrooms were a bit stinky, service was hit and miss. Food truck outside, easy access/parking. I had fun, but it was more about the party than the beer.

54 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20
Itís a nice large space with a sizable back patio if you can find your way to it. The service was pretty poor, overbearing and didnít really know anything about beer. Selection was pretty decent, macros and micros on tap and a decent bottle list, but probably nothing you havenít had before. Didnít try the food. A little pricey, all the bottles and drafts were at least $4.50 for something worth having, a bit above normal market prices. Could be nice for a large event, but not what youíre looking for in a beer destination.

New Orleans themed bar, clean and drab, some random stuff thrown out on the walls... decent selection of macros but what really got me was ordering a Dales Pale Ale only to realize it was 9 months old.... then to be told by a manager "Thats just the way Oskar Blues does labels their cans and that I was full of it". Not a fan, but it might do in a pinch.

Not a bad bar and friendly enough service. But beware, this place can fill with frat rats and sorority girls, when it becomes more like Hades than Mardi Gras.

96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20
Great New Orleans themed bar. Owners stayed true to "old world" New Orleans. Iron beam and wood slat ceilings, concrete walls with exposed metal frames around the windows. Copper bar tops. Mixed flooring with wood and stained concrete - cool look. I heard the owner built all of the woodwork and cabinetry including the entire bar! Pretty cool. Large Courtyard patio with outside bar and a ton of built in outdoor seating - also cool.
Service was fantastic. It was a busy night and still I did not have to wait for my drink. Huge selection of liquors. 75-80 or so types of beer in the bottle and 12 taps. Served more popular craft beers - so not really any outrageous micros here (but wouldnít you want to sell the types of beer that people are buying?)
Krewe De Gras is a bar with some appetizers, so donít expect a full meal. The appetizers they did serve were great though. Loved the SOS chips.
Great place. A come as you are place. People are very laid back and it seems everyone there is having fun. So, if you want a great place to go in Tallahassee, try this place - youíll love it.

A newish place in Tallahassee, so I had to check it out. Recommended by a friend and co-worker as "sorta like Fermentation Lounge." ...but itís not really.
Dim place that is clean cut and pretty nice since itís new. Itís rather drab, though - plain concrete floors - cinderblock walls - not much going on. I should also note that there were children about. I donít think they were visiting, and Iím not sure that youíre allowed to bring children... they may have just been the owners kids running about. Itís a bit unsettling.
Our bartender was very kind and kept good track of us (we were sitting at the bar). Donít expect special beer knowledge.
The selection was fine, but far from special. 12 drafts that included Sweetwater, Yuengling, a couple Victory beers, and otherwise forgettable. The bottle list included Abita, Sweetwater, Lazy Magnolia, Oskar Blues, and Starr Hill, but honestly, youíre not going to find anything you canít find somewhere else.
I didnít try the food while there.
We went on a Tuesday, so the value was nice. 2-for-1 hurricanes and dollar off drafts. I got a full pint of Victory Golden Monkey for $3.50. Really canít complain about that!
Overall, stop on by if you happen to be in that area. Otherwise, definitely hit one of the other Tally hotspots.
