did not visit the place, but ordered online, therefore "ambiance" refers to the usefulness and cleanness of the web interface, which is pretty good. Good selection for reasonable prices. Ridiculously safe-looking packaging, very fast and pretty cheap shipping (at least to where I need to ship: Germany or Austria. Usually arrives within 2-3 workdays). Kurt is also very responsive. When they have something more rare, you can also order it and let it at their warehouse until you have a full 30kg box.

Have ordered from a half dozen or so times. Great packaging, never had anything broken (glasses or bottles), and never had a package lost. It takes about a week to ship usually, and arrives 1-2 weeks after shipping. When following tracking, my packages are always held in customs for 1-3 days, but are always released and delivered. Iíve emailed Kurt a couple times and have never received a response. I always get an email when my package ships, but itís about 50/50 that I get an email with a tracking number. Still one of the most reasonably priced and reliable services of itís kind, despite communication issues.

Been ordering from Kurt for a few years now. Iíd have to say he has bomb proof packing and now with the cheaper shipping rates there really isnít a better place to order from. Kurt always replies to my emails in a timely manner and is always more then helpful when i have questions regarding different beers.

Stopped in here to meet kraddel, and he and the owner and coworkers helped me ship some stuff home. Much thanks for that! Oh, and they have some cool beers here too! Getting the chance to actually look at the beers and glassware they had available was one of the coolest experiences of my trip. They have a whole room dedicated to lambic, with crate upon crate of the stuff. I was able to find a few bottles and glasses that I had wanted for quite some time. Despite the place being somewhat difficult to find, it is worth a visit if you are in Antwerp. Make sure to message kraddel ahead of time so he can help you find the place! Itís an awesome crew this place has. All of them are top notch and know way more than I do about beer!

I visited the physical location. I was allowed to pick out whatever bottles interested me. I found two beers that rather interested me even though I have had a lot more Belgian beers than the average person. Prices seemed reasonable to me. The owner was very nice to me & clearly run a great business which is a quality I greatly respect in small business owners. I saw him take serious financial losses just to keep customers happy and satisfied. While being local I probably wonít order much here & I can certainly endorse his business. If you choose a Belgian mail order business I would recommend this one based upon his demeanor. Not to mention his wonderfully ridiculous packaging. He offered me the ability to make shipments using his store as a friendly gesture despite clearly having no financial benefit from doing this. Clearly recommended.

Really satisfied with my order there. The package of the bottles was ideal. They were all wrapped in foamed plastics and the empty parts of the box were filled with styrofoam. Shipping was done within a few days and the shipping costs from Belgium to Germany were absolutely fair (9,99 Ä). The selection is really nice. They sell some real rarities I already searched for. Prices are quite good, especially compared to other Belgian web shops. The structure of the site is very clear so that browsing is just fun. Highly recommended.

Ordered some things from here and showed up at Kurtís door thinking I was at the "warehouse". He noted that itís just the business address and since I hadnít schedule the pickup in Antwerp, he didnít have the beer yet (ordered the day before). This was 100% my fault! He then said to come back in an hour and heíd give me a ride to the warehouse (a combination of his personal collection and his store) across town. Did that, and he even dropped us back off. I also asked if heíd be willing to ship me other stuff Iíd picked up while in Europe, and it was no problem. He shipped about 30 bottles to me in a single box and all came through in pristine condition rather quickly. Great guy, always has good stuff available, and prices are about what you can find the stuff for at shops around town. Shipping is extremely reasonable. Definitely worth shopping at.

Found on a web search for some beer crates for my homebrew, but this is far more than that! Good selection, prices are quite reasonable. Product arrived safely and promptly. I will be a return customer, although buying in crates means sadly rarely!

Bought some nice lambics from Belgium in a box. They arrived well pack and safe in 2 working days from Belgium. The shipping prices were quite decent. Would pruchase again if they had anything I wanted. Communication by e-mail was very easy.

A good selection of rare Belgian beers, glassware and beer related items. The site has an easy to navigate layout, though site loads slow at times. Kurt is a great guy, providing an excellent service. The shipping to Sweden is relatively fast, on par with ordering non-stocked beers locally, from the Swedish state-run alcohol monopoly Systembolaget. The items are well packaged to survive shipping, and tracking numbers are supplied. The only problem is the value, shipping such heavy items comes at a cost. So it is only worth buying beers/items you canít get locally.
