Finally visited the third T Phillips location. This one is about where the La Verne location was a year in terms of beer selection. They’re starting to give a crap now. They still have 70ish taps consisting of mostly crap but they also had Enjoy By along with half a dozen other Stone taps, a couple of Hangar 24 taps, a couple of Goose Island taps, and a couple Lagunitas taps. The room is large and open, the music was pretty loud, and they have the same menu that the other locations do. I got a bacon guacamole burger ordered medium rare that actually came out medium. I was impressed since the other spots always just cook everything well done no matter what you ask for. The portions are fairly large, way too much for one meal for any non-obese person. I don’t go to Monrovia often, in fact this may have been the first time I ever actually stopped anywhere in the town, but this little stretch of Myrtle is kind of a cool spot, with London Gastropub next door and all.

Not to many places doing decent beer in Monrovia, good to see someone trying.

Ambiance: The place is a well lit family-ish joint.
Service: The bar tenders don’t know craft beer.
Selection:Ton’s of macro faux craft beers, but a few decent local crafts.
Food: Decent enough appetizers.
Value: A bit pricy for the beer.
Overall: A place to check out if you are in Monrovia, but no where near a decent beer bar.
