for a bar in mckinney, tx this place has a lot going for it. the burgers are pricey at the cost of quality, local, grass fed cows i believe. great tap list for the area, you can typically find some stuff that hasn’t been around in the area for a while. it was a little loud, but this was a saturday night and that can be expected. all in all the service was good, the food was great, and the beer selection was pretty solid.

everything that swalden28 said i agree with. place is on the pricey side for what it is and why on earth i told him i would pay is beyond me. the beer prices did seem about standard though.

Me and ericandersnavy stopped by here today (Saturday). This place is very open with high ceilings and lit up well, seems to have a Swedish design thing going, kinda like everything came from Ikea. 30 taps on hand and only 2 Texas local brew they have on hand is Franconia, they have 4 taps dedicated to them and a couple of Saint Arnold. I was slightly surprised to see Unibrou on tap here but they had several good brews. The food was pretty pricey, $9.50 for a cheese burger, does not include fries and it was only "Ok".
Service was pretty slow with no real energy behind it, at least from the guy waiting on us. My brother actually had to approach the hostess before we were seated because we were just standing there for 5-10 min with out anyone saying a word to us. I have no reason to visit again.

Good local pub on McKinney’s courthouse square. 30 beers on tap, good variety, gourmet burgers and apps.
