I checked this place out. It is a bit tricky to get to unless you know the area. There are over 1,000 beers here sold at reasonable prices. Mix and match OK. Lots of regionals and local beers as well as a few I have not seen before. Worth the trip.

Great store. Biggest selection of Massachusetts I have seen. Lots of brands I havenít seen anywhere else in the Boston area. Tons of imports. Single and six pack prices. Helpful, extremely knowledgeable staff. Lots of brewers visit for in store tastings. Prices are slightly high, but not bad. Great store.

Tight little store but the pack lots of nice stuff in there. Very friendly staff and a nice selection...well worth a visit if you are in the area. Grabbed night shift stuff here and some 3 font golden blend. Prices were good...a bit high on golden blend but i rarely see that on a shelf at home so why not?

Stopped in here earlier today while I had some free time in Boston. Doesnít look like the biggest place from the outside but it is much bigger than it appears. Nice relaxed vibe, quite welcoming. Service was good, I was asked if I needed help twice and I talked to the guys a little bit while I was checking out. They seemed to know what they were talking about when it came beer.

Quality was very good, everything I looked at was fresh or aged intentionally. I was able to pick up a FantŰme tulip and Drie Fonteinen pint! I never, ever, thought I would see either of those glasses on a shelf, let alone in the same store. Beer selection was just as good. Lots of different beers from all over the world. Tons of bottles and cans line both walls and down the middle. The likes of Evil Twin, Mikkeller, De Struise, De Ranke, Boon etc. to go along with all of the typical national US brands. Overall an awesome bottle shop. I will definitely return if I am ever in the area again.

Saturday Night drop in. Place was PACKED! 3 people offered to help me find a beer and I asked for a boulevard beer and was told itís kept in the cellar and they promptly grabbed it for me. For Mass, the prices are really fair. No complaints here. If I was local, this would be my primary beer store.

very very well run place. enthusiastic owners. current list of all available beers on the website. frequent twitter updates of new beers. clean. easily one of the best beer stores in boston area, though a touch out of the way for visitors to the city.

I had never stepped foot in here until this week, when on a whim I checked the place finder for the latest ratings on Boston metro beer stores. Short answer: this place is GREAT! An outstanding selection, very knowledgeable staff and a warm, inviting ambiance. Itís like a treasure trove of great beers (and other things like glasses, wine, hot sauce, merchandise, etc). I salivated over their vast Belgian selection. I drooled over their west coast selection (best range of AleSmiths Iíve seen anywhere in MA!). To cap it all off, I asked my usual "Got any Cantillon?" question and was told they were raffling off a few of the recently delivered bottles, so I put my name in -- and won one of them! As the old saying goes, the way to a manís heart is to let him win a Cantillon :) Summary: great place, great beer, get yourself there ASAP.

I had been dreaming about visiting this store since Christmas. At last, my wife and I drove from Peabody down to Belmont with my 2 year old in tow. Future reference, do not bring a 2 year old into a store with a large percentage of breakables. He was unruly. But the staff was welcoming. As I entered my eyes raced from bottles to cans to bottles from floor to ceiling and wall-to-wall. I was impressed. First impressions are everything. I was greeted by a woman (possibly owner/operator) whom uttered one simple, non-threatening phrase, "i am here to help if you need anything" and she stepped to the side. Awesome. I had a great conversation with her, she was very knowledgeable and approachable. I had a limited budget, but I felt I got value out of the little I could spend. Everything I purchased was unavailable closer to my home. I was excited. My wife said I was bubbly on the ride home. I could have stayed for hours and chatted and looked at beer bottles and cans. They had magazines as well. Awesome!
