I was lucky enough to come here on vacation while in Key West, FL. This place was a bit buried for me, even though itís on Duval Street. Overall great feeling, I was able to grab an imperial stout on tap for $5 and drink it on a desolate porch while observing the craziness of the street with crappy sing-alongs to Hotel California. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a quaint, low-key atmosphere amidst the hoopla that surrounds the area.
This old style house bar was filled with ambiance and bottles. The staff was very well versed and could point out some very nice beers. They had a great selection of taps and bottles. They also sell bottles to go, but at what I though was a high price. A must stop in Key West!
In a very old house that survived the fire from 1886. Surrounded by foliage and a rustic, shaggy Banyan Tree. The Porch has a lot of seating on its porch. Thereís a ground level patio as well. More seating inside the smallish bar. People/street watching is possible from the porch. Several taps, quite a few bottles and cans, and an extraordinary number of 22 oz bottles. Service is very good and friendly.
As most everyone has said, the place is cool. Nice atomosphere (Key West/Tropics), but a bit loud and crowded. The selection is good and you can drink outside in the sunshine or under the stars pretty much any time of the year.
The best beer oriented place in the keys. Very pleasant atmosphere, relaxed and comfortable. Coolers with excellent large format and single bottles for takeaway or on premises consumption. We sat on the porch sipping CCB while watching the hordes crowd the bars on each adjacent corner, in total peace.
Very nice bar on the corner of Duval st and Caroline st. 12 taps and +50 bottles to choose from. Not much space inside, but they have a nice porch out front with chairs and tables. Very friendly staff. The prices are very fair. $31 for 8 different beers and wine.
certainly the best rail in the Keys
however I do dislike drinking with people who donít drink with dogs!
$$$$ (itís the beach, man)
Victorian rehab, right off the main drag.
alas no food, no wifi, and not accessible! get with it guys, crips detergent good beer just like everybody else!
The Porch may be the best destination for "beer snobs" in Key West. There are 18 taps with great selection. The bottled beer selection is also tremendous. The only negative is The Porch is dog friendly. Some people would rather not drink beer with dogs in the establishment.
Neat little spot downtown. Itís an old house with a big front porch where you can sit and drink while you people watch on Duvall street. Selection is interesting enough to find something for everyone. That sweet spot of just a dozen taps, but more than one thing you want to drink.
