Great ambiance, love the back patio. Service was nothing amazing. Selection is great, all you can want from Rogue and then some. Value was horrible, twice the price for pints and the publik house in Portland. Also, no tasters the day we were there. Overall, one of the better beer places we found in San Fran, but not great.

Great selection of Rogue beers on tap - nothing rare or out of the ordinary though. Some guest taps weren't too bad. Food was ok. If you like rogue you'll be in heaven. Pretty solid place overall.

Solid Rogue bar that we only stopped at by chance because it was open on Xmas Day. Good selection of Rogue beers, and equally as many guest beers, but they are nothing special. Prices are okay and service is very attentive. Really nice interior ambience. Wouldnít really recommend it for the beer, but if youíre staying in the area, itís an obvious choice.

Liked the rooms better than the beers, which I find a bit dull. Friendly service, but maybe a bit high prices. Nice food too. You can buy merchandise, and bottles to go as well. Not only Rogue beers, but also some other nice brews. Well worth a visit.

Late evening on Sunday 3rd Feb 2013: the 49ers had earlier blown the Super Bowl and this place was subdued and fairly quiet apart from one table full of collage kids who had to shout because they appeared too pissed to talk. The joint is basic and wooden: as are the pieces of furniture. Chalk Board high up behind the bar tells you whatís on: when I asked for a ZIA Fireside Chat I got blank looks, my eye sight is so bad and the writer of the chalk board so crap it had 21A (as in 21st Amendment) looking like ZIA: oh how we laughed. The staff loved me, even got some free crisps, or whatever Americans call them. Anyway my wife and I shared 6 different beers and had a very pleasant stay, chairs could have done with some cushions though.

We stopped in for a few beers around around noon on a Saturday. Itís near the tourist attractions (Pier 39, etc), which was reflected in the prices but the service was great. They had at least 38 taps of Rogue, Anchor, a few ciders and a couple other random breweries. They had anything you were looking for. We only had an appetizer, the Blue Balls, and they were great. Definitely a great place to take a break from the sightseeing and relax.

Visited several times after hitting SF Brewing and then twice more recently.

Despite what a lot of people have to say about Rogue beers here this place is pretty cool. Right on the edge of North Beach and on a main street with several bus routes going right by here. What I like about the place is that they have something like 20 Rogue beers on tap. Sitting at the bar is easier for getting flights of things but the tables are good too if you have a lot of people in your group. Just be warned that the tap list in the back room isnt always up to date; I guess they have a decent turn over.

Service is friendly but sometimes hard to get ahold of. They get pretty busy certain times of the day. Prices are reasonable and Iíve heard on your birthday theyíll give you a free beer.

I didnít even know this place existed in San Francisco until my cousins-in-law took me when I was there on business. Itís not often that the three of us get tipsy all in the same bar, but this place was that warm, comfortable, and relaxing, all the while bustling with fun and charisma. The well-lit layout encourages interaction with other patrons without the discomfort of sitting on top of people. The service was ok, but at least it wasnít bad. You might wait for a few minutes when you make your trip up to the bar and bar keeps arenít going to entertain many questions. But at least theyíre not condescending jerks that so many craft beer joints seem to employ. There is a great selection of home and guest beers. I had a wonderful time here and would love to go back as soon as I can.
