Jester King could possibly be the second most beautfiful and atmospherically astouding brewery Iíve ever visited, behind only Stoneís ridiculously extravagant World Bistro. Jester King is on a sprawling, hilly farmstead with outside seating and sporadic wooden buildings. Iím not sure how affiliated they are with the restaurant on grounds, but there is a place to get some food just a few yards away. The beer is nothing but top notch. Theyíve carved out a niche for themselves by making beers that are undeniably unique, reflect a personality and delicious as well. Prices are really good for this kind of beer, especially by the standards Iím used to. It seemed to be in line with other spots in Austin. Sitting outside during sunset sipping on a glass of snorkel by a roaring fire could be the top highlight from my stay in Texas.

Great beer destination in the middle of the Texas Woodlands. The beer selection of their own plus trying others is ridiculous. The people and service are outstanding. The amount of beer to purchase and take away is awesome and handled separately making easier on everyone. A must on every beer nerds list. Will be back again in the near future.

Farm setting with picnic tables under the oak trees and a band playing. They had a good selection on tap and ridiculous bottle selection of their own plus numerous others at reasonable prices. Only downer was the heat of Texas summer, which is beyond their control. Jester King knows how to handle their popularity and growth, handling customers. Kudos to them for coming up with a good process for minimizing waits. This is what I wish Hill Farmstead was like as the setting is very similar. HF should take note of how to run a business.

Probbably one of the coolest breweries I have ever been two. Beautiful farm setting equipped with meadows, a farmhouse pizza joint, and world class beer. Not to mention you can bottle share and play bags all day. You could literally spend entire weekends at this place, it is that awesome. No where else can I drink Atrial and Nocturn by the pint, turn to a buddy and grab a pour of BA Hunahpu or Cantillon. One of the best beer experiences I have ever had. Do not go to Austin and not make it to Jester King.

I have been here more times than I cant count and It is time for a review..This place is for some people and some not..As a native Texan it reminds me of my childhood in the country..Large wooden barn like buildings, Big open fields, Wildflowers, large trees with shaded picnic tables underneath..The lines sometime get a bit long but just grab 2 beers and its makes it all worth it..This is a must stop while in Austin.

Fantastic place. Farmhouse in the middle of hill country. Lots of room. Couple bars and a to go spot. Fun, vibrant, awesome. And of course the beer isnít bad either. Hope I can get back soon.

Loved this outdoor setting. My toddler ran around as a folk band played. The farmhouse ales are phenominal.

Well, what can I say. You know itís not going to be your normal brewpub experience when they have three guys in the parking lot guiding you into parking spaces. You first pass the pizza place on your right, then the brewery on the left, with dozens of picnic tables scattered under live oak trees (they have the word "live" in the name so that you can tell that they are). The selection inside was the same as the selection at a small outside bar under a tree, with the exception of a special cask at each. You can buy bottles to take away or to drink there, and the half dozen beers they had on were all very tasty. Live music as well, a two person country band. Very nice way to spend the day, at least in good weather. Iím not sure what theyíd do in bad weather, put people in the brewery itself maybe. Awesome place.
