Great brewpub in downtown Anchorage. Got a beer at the bar and ate in the restaurant. Bartender seemed knowledgable and hooked me up with a sample before ordering. The beers were very good. I enjoyed the DIPA and the barley wine. Food was excellent as well - anything from barfood to steaks and crab legs. The place was slammed when we were there. Would definitely recommend for your trip to Anchorage. Also make sure to go to the Mooseís Tooth.

We stopped in here for lunch and a few beers before the Barleywine festival. We were all blown away by the BA sampler we had, Imperial Stout, Eisbock and Barleywines. Nice big restaurant. Lots of seating and a nice sized bar, view of the tanks. Big fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. Service was fast and friendly, but didnít have any beer knowledge. Food was good.

Oddly set-up brewpub, nice spacious dinning room with a decent size bar. Selection was above average with some seasonal beers sprinkled in with the regulars. Service was slow and not as engaged as one would like, but did know the beers very well. They hold several special events, Iíll be back for one of them.

Stoppped by for dinner on a Saturday night. Huge, uppity place in downtown Anchorage. This place looks great and seems to me that most people there are there for the food and not the brew. Service was good and selection was just ok. they had like 8-10 taps a couple of cask/oak selecions. The food was amazing. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it. Overall not a place to just go and hang out at the bar more of a great place to dine and drink a few.

Circilng back around, looking at my "Places" ratings, I noticed, I omitted rating one of the best place in Alaska. Whatís going on with me, these days? Anyways, there is parking adjacent to the building. If youíre looking at the building, itís to the left. Probably not a helpful lot, during peak hours, but I easily found parking on a Friday night around 8:00 pm. The place was crowded, both times I went. The beers were fantastic. The first time I visited, they had many barrel-aged beers avaiable; during the second vist, they had two. All that I tried were delicious. The service, at least at the bar, was top-notch. The food was pretty good. I had a salmon BLT that was quite nice. The food prices were decent, but work was paying, so I truly didnít care. The beer prices were in line with what every other brewpub was charging. The beer, oh man, the beer was pretty good. The barrel-aged stuff was good, but pretty heavy on the barrel side; meaning, styles became blurred due to the presence of the whiskey barrels, oak barrels, etc. The double IPA - the name eludes me - was strikingly nice. Overall, I enjoyed this place, and had a very positive experience. I definitely would head back anytime. Oh, the ambiance is nice and open, almost has a lodge feeling to it. I liked the exposed kitched, and high ceilings.

Super brewery in the heart of downtown. Parking can be tricky just find a covered lot and pay the cash it is worth it. Great beers lots of barrel aged projects and good pub style food. The atmosphere is off the charts. Great Beer tenders they really know there product.

This is a large brewpub in the heart of downtown Anchorage. In the summer they focus on their flagship beers, but starting in December itís all about barleywines, aged in various oak barrels. Oh, and the occasional eisbock and imperial stout. 15 in all when I visited. Mash tuns etc are visible from the bar. Fruendly staff. Solid place.

Stopped by for dinner and drinks on a weekend evening. Waited a long, long time for a table. A nice restaurant with a lage fireplace and bar area. Had the King crab, which was really good. The beer selection is all right. Tried a sampler and most of the beers were average to slightly above average. A good stop, but show up early!

A beautiful wooden hangar-like brewpub, with a concave wooden ceiling, a nice food menu and some decent taps. Very friendly service. Sampler 5 X 5 ounces for 5.95$.

Nice brewpub in downtown. Decent selection of 6 regulars, a few seasonals and specials, and a rotating cask selection. They will do a flight of 5 of the 6 regulars. More of a restaurant feel than brewpub, but still comfortable. Attentive service and above average food at the regular Alaska prices. I really liked that the brews were served at cellar and cask temperature; donít know if this is typical or they were having refrigeration issues, but I enjoyed it.
