Not my favourite Vinmonopolet shop, but since I am frequently in those parts, I have been there a couple of times. The selection is not too good. Right now, there’s 112 beers, but the shop is a bit small anyway. I was a bit disappointed last time I was there, because there were so many IPAs, pale ales etc. and not much else, but it’s right were I’m walking past, so that means a lot. Check out the beer meny link for updated stock.

Official address is on Toyengata street as listed on ratebeer but the store is in a small shopping mall and the entrance is actually on Gondland street. Shitty selection, just regulars from Nøgne Ø, regulars from Haandbryggeriet, some Aass and one Kinn (the IPA). Almost as bad a selection as the Vinmonopolet Rosenkrantz gate. This is one of the lame Oslo Vinmonopolet, don’t bother.

Pretty standard selection, and the staff doesn’t know that much about beer or sake. There are however a few reasons to visit this place: 1) Close to Meny Grønland, that has a very good selection of < 4.7 ABV beers 2) The always amazingly friendly lady who’s working there 3) It’s at Grønland, a very exotic part of Oslo. I lived there for 5 years (the vinmonopol opened a couple of months after I moved)
