44 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 9/20
This is a dumpy little store that happens to have a reasonable beer selection tucked away in the back. The employees were polite, and pretty friendly, but not overly knowledgeable. The ratebeer shelf tags were a welcome sight, though. The selection is eclectic, but pretty good. Be wary, though some of the bottles have obviously been in there for far too long. For example, they still have several bottles of Terrapin Sound Czech, which was released over 2 1/2 years ago. Itís a pilsener, so there is no way it isnít skunked. There are also plenty of last yearís winter seasonals hanging around. The prices are average, or a little better, and they have a nice little singles section. Overall, this is not worth a stop, although if youíre trying to find something that everywhere else has run out of, it could be worth a shot.
