I donít know why this is on ratebeer, because Adamís Morgan has a number of places with better beer like Reef, Smoke & Barrel, Black Squirrel. Ventnor only has about 5 tables inside and usually a staff of ONE PERSON. Tap list is very small. I refuse to believe they have 10 taps, but if they do, maybe 5 are non-macro and poor micro like Abita and Long Trail. Ambiance is mega cramped with corny sports paraphernalia and nauseating orange and blue decor. Food is poor bar food. Service is absolutely terrible- one person waits all people in the entire bar and couldnít give a shit. Beer prices are high. I cannot recommend this place for any occasion. This *used* to be the UNC crew hangout until we discovered Public Bar in DuPont Circle, which is way more fun, larger, and also caters directly to the UNC crowd. For any reason, this venue sucks. For beer, I mean you have got to be shitting me.

Pretty good selection for a sportís bar, handles change frequently. Best wings in DC!

This is the type of place itís best to visit at night, with a group, a bit drunk, so that you donít notice how dank and sticky it is. I donít mind scruffy, especially for a sports bar, but not sticky. They had one Lost Rhino beer, some Macros, and a couple of uninteresting eers. Go elsewhere.

VSC is the best sports bar in the Adams Morgan district. The bar is favororable to Philidelphia sports teams but you can always get your game on because of their multiple TVs. The owner and the staff do a great job to make you feel welcome and are genuinely nice people. I have only added the rating now because VSC has been stepping up its craft brew offerings lately. They just had a Long Trail night and are doing a Phili beer night. You might not find too many beers you havenít had but if you want good bar food and a nice atmosphere to watch a game, you canít beat it.
