Visited early evening on a Wednesday. Just up the street from The Blind Butcher, on the busy Greenville Avenue. Parking is a pain, though there is a big lot across the street just past the Trader Joes. Small, dark brick bar with communal tables and a cool old bar. The beer selection is spread out throughout the room bottle shop style, though they seemed to have more of an on premises focus. 20 or so beers on draft, solid selection. Fun crowd.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Nice place with plenty of bottles (hence the name). Most taps are local Dallas brews with a few good other taps. No food here, but the selection of bottles is really good and the staff is very knowledgeable as well. Located in a trendy part of lower greenville ave. definitely worth checking out.

Started going to The Bottle Shop when they first opened. Started off pretty nice, good variety and good prices. As of late, the prices have crept up, and the selection seems to be at the whim of the bartenders. Not a whole lot of overly interesting tappings happening that frequently anymore.

The Bottle Shop is located on the corner of Richmond and Greenville in the Lower Greenville area of downtown Dallas. There is some public parking beside and behind the building.

The interior of the bar/bottle shop features a wall full of shelves of bottles on the left, a bar on the right and some seating in between. Brick walls and a couple TVs. Behind the bar are some taps and coolers full of bottles.

The tap selection amounts to around 20 with several Texas breweries represented like Lakewood, Deep Ellum and Live Oak, plus other craft breweries like Ballast Point, Green Flash and Ommegang. Growlers are available. There are several hundred bottled options too, including many singles, seasonals and imports. Several Texan breweries like Community, Rahr & Sons, Peticolas and St. Arnold are available.

Service on a Sunday just as they opened was good. The bartender was friendly and happy to offer samples.

This place does not offer food.

Overall this is a solid shop to hit for some local beers both on draught and to go.

This place, I believe it used to be the Blarney Stone, has a great vibe. The service is nice and I always have great conversation with the staff and other patrons. Nice selection of brews (draft and bottle - for stay or take away) and the bartenders tend to know their beer very well. Good knowledge without spewing too much opinion - which is what I like!

Stopped by to pick up a bottle of Wicked Beaver. Nice selection of craft brews to drink there or to go as well as a growler selection. Like all hangouts on Greenville Avenue, the parking sucks!

Interesting little place that is a mix of bar and store. You can buy beer bottles or growlers to go or you can sit and enjoy. Nice leather couches and a bar you can relax in. During my visit I just bought a couple to go bottles but next time I think Iíll sit and have a couple.

Went here for the first time a few days ago. They have about a 15 seat bar with and small handful of taps, as well as a ton of bottles that are stored cold in order to be drank on site. They also have a bunch of bottles which are for sale to go. I heard they donít normally serve food, but there was a beer dinner going on the night I was there. They had all three bottled beers from Wicked Beaver Brewing, which to the best of my knowledge, is the first time this beer has been sold to go in the Dallas area.

Cool vibe, dark wood bar. Walls lined with shelves full of bottles, most of which can be taken home for consumption. Tap selection is usually pretty good and being able to get a growler filled is nice. Prices about average for the area.
