I was so happy to have a place near home to pick up some local craft brews, but I have been nothing but disappointed! This place has gone WAY downhill since the owner, Jeff, passed away. Their distributors pawn off on them what other stores who know their craft beer don’t want! Lady tries to sell "rare" beers like Stone’s Crime! This place is a joke! Save your time and drive up the street to The Wine Shop and deal with someone who know’s craft beer. When asked if they were getting Bourbon Co. Stout from Goose Island, the lady didn’t even know what I was talking about, despite her carrying Goose Island Matilda forever. I just wanted a close craft beer store, instead I got a liquor/wine store that has one or two more beers than the local gas station! Almost $4 more higher per bottle than other ABC stores less than 1/2 mile up the road on liquor, not sure about wine and I don’t purchase much beer from them unless I am desperate.

This is a wine/beer store with a liquor store separated but in the same building. This is the only true beer store in Lake Wylie/Clover and I’m happy to finally have a local option. Jeffrey Cushing is the owner and he always greets me and lets me know what he has in stock that I would like since he knows his customers. Fairly new store so the selection is not the best I’ve seen but if you live in the area and want a local option where the owner treats you like a friend this is the place to go!
