Kicked off the day early lunch time and already the back bar was busy. Great choice of beers including about 1/3 locally made stuff which i found to be very good from the many varied samples I had from across the spectrum. Being happy hour i opted for a 32oz pitcher of "Hoppy" for $6. The working brewery was on full view as was an interesting list of beers to be made in collaboration with and for customers. The devil burger was delicious. I used the very convenient 41 bus to get here from central so could fill my boots ! Very friendly bar staff - I was recommended to stop off at a small bar called ThePigsMeow on the way back on the 41 for further sampling......
So this is an upscale brewpub restaurant, pretty packed at 5PM on a Saturday, but I found a place at the bar. It looks pretty nice inside, kind of standard brewpub feel, separate dining rooms around. Food looked to be upscale pub fare, and was priced to match. Tap list is a mix of maybe 2/3 guest beers, focus on local products, and their own brews, which I understand to be generally "collaborations" with home brewers. The OHSO beers are available as about 2 oz tasters for $1 each. I tried two to get the ball rolling. Both were gross. I had no desire to stay after that. In retrospect, I like the concept a lot, but: (1) there is something sell-outy about a pretentious upscale place being the home of the "Outrageous Homebrewers Social Outpost" - this is just not the vibe that most homebrewers I know are looking for when going out in public. (2) based on my albeit limited sampling, they need to seriously get a handle on quality control. Serving homebrew collabs is cool, but if they are shit, it brings the whole concept down. I guess I am in the minority here, but I don’t plan on going back.
Une ambiance fragmentée en plusieurs morceaux dont une belle terrasse industrielle à l’arrière. La liste de fûts invités étaient plus que satisfaisante et le concept de ’’brew your own’’ est intéressant même si inégal. Dans l’ensemble, une belle expérience avec un staff à la hauteur.

Made a blitzkreig stop for a quick bite and a beer on a late lunch hour Friday. Nice, relaxed and open vibe, friendly and cute staff, good beer, nice neo-nerdy menu with lots of "healthy" riffs on pub classics. They only have a small number of house beers, but also offer an extensive draft list with other local/regional options. Will be back. Brewery #690. <<Revisited and was thoroughly unimpressed with the house beers -- low end homebrew. Also was put off by the snooty service. Rating lowered. Won’t be back.>>
Fun, interesting looking place. Decent food that was very pricey. Good happy hour deal. House beers were solid. Friendly service. All of our beers were in plain generic shaker glasses, even the imperial pumpkin stout...booooo..shame on you.
Visited OHSO recently and had a great experience. Went late in the afternoon right after a heavy downpour. It was nice sitting at the bar looking out thru the open front to the patio and the steam rising up off the pavement with the sun coming back out. The layout of this place is original and quite nice. There are several different rooms and areas to sit. Even given the time of day OHSO was more than half full. We sat at the bar and did flights of their beers as well as anything else interesting they had...which was quite a few. As we had a business dinner planned elsewhere we just tired some appetizers...which were extremely good. On a next visit I will be sure to eat a full meal here. There is a nice nano brewery and guest beer making place in the back. All in all I highly recommend a visit to OHSO when in town.

This place had a mid-century hipster vibe, but it wan’t overbearing, the food was solid and had some nice beers. Recommended.
Great Patio off of the canal with views of camelback mountain. Always features local brews, both their own and other brewers in AZ. Staff and usually very knowledgeable on beers. You can schedule to go in and brew a batch with the brewers and learn the process.
Really like this place a lot. They had a great outdoor area, a great vibe, and a great setup. The food we ate was tasty as well. I imagine if I lived anywhere around here I’d be a regular, and I wish we had something just like this near me.
