Stopped in with Hayduke on Saturday after the afternoon session of GABF. I generally avoid chain breweries but we were hunting for ticks. I found this to be better than expected. I sometime judge a brewery on whether they can brew a Pils and a Kolsch. They got half way there with a decent Pils. The rest of the beers were generally pretty good. The restaurant was quite good and didnít feel like a chain. Service was good and our waitress seemed to know her stuff.

This location has the best beer Iíve had at Rock Bottom. Some more unique offerings including barrel aged beers. Excellent food. Good service. Nice setting.

Beers are OK and the atmosphere is.. OK. Our waiter was a bit stressed so he made us stressed. It was overall OK but not worth going. Had a great chicken sandwich though.

Chain brewery with 4-5 beers that are the same at every location and 5-10 rotators that are seasonal/one-off. Service is usually pretty good and so is the food. Prices are reasonably cheap you can usually get at least 3-4 ticks every time you drop in. Overall, pretty standard chain and alright if youíre in a pinch, but I wouldnít seek it out if you are in downtown Denver.

Rock Bottom may be a bit corporate but I always enjoy a beer and food wherever the location. My IPA was very drinkable, the staff attentive and the food good quality. The bar can get very busy but seats can usually be found

Stopped in here when I arrived in Denver. Nice little place with typical mountain west decor of wood, stone, and brick. Nice big bar, some fermenters above. Helpful and friendly service, had 3 samplers with decent enough beer. Bartender didnít charge me for any of those which was nice. Got some steak tacos and they were OK but obviously frozen chain food quality. Overall worth stopping in but no need to go out of your way.

Visited again early April, 2014, during CBC week.
First had a beer and a sample, ate a 14 oz nice steak. Decided to stay a bit longer and have the 6 samplers, plus a few extra samples for that. Nice and friendly service. Sat by the bar. Was a wait to get seated if I wanted a table. Some outdoors seating at the patio too. A few beers were great, most were just OK.
Visited with a friend on October 13, 2012
Stopped by in between GABF sessions, shared a beer with my friend and we both ate. Crowded, though not overly noisy. Nice place, donít understand why some donít go. Iíd go back. Nice central location, good food.

If youíve been to any Rock Bottoms before, then you know what the atmosphere is like here. This one is right on the 16th street mall downtown and was pretty busy even at 2pm on a Thursday. I didnít think I could find a seat at the bar until I stumbled upon the second bar hidden in the back which was nearly empty. There were eight taps on there as opposed to the dozen or more at the front bar. I went with the Citra dry hopped red on cask, which was actually rather good. Service was good. Did not eat on this visit. As far as huge chain brewpubs go, Rock Bottom continues to be my preferred. They give the brewers considerable freedom and at the Denver location there are plenty of quality options available.

Pretty good sized location. Lots of seating out on the patio as well as inside. Plenty of TVs and bar space. Service was pretty good even though it was very busy during GABF weekend. Lots of beers on tap, including some special stuff. Most of the non-standard (Wit, IPA, Kolsch, etc.) beers were pretty good. Just about everything available in a sample for $1, which was quite nice. Not my first choice of breweries, but serviceable.

I stopped in during GABF week. Large brewpub right on the 16th St. Mall. Typical brewpub ambiance with good service and around 15 beers on tap. The ones I tried were mostly good. The food was pretty good and the prices were fair. Nice location, but really nothing too special here.
