Great place! I love that this place is no more than a mile from my new home. It has three distinct areas: roomy patio, dining/pub area, and bar. Service is amazing. Nice, attentive, happy, relatively informed. The food is magnificent, the beers are plentiful, and both are cheap. Half price pints on Sundays.

Visited in April 2012 and had a Southern Tier barleywine for $2.50. A while pint. Wow.
Only had the one beer and really liked the vibe of the place. Will go back when next in the area.
Yes, it’s an old casual-dining restaurant repurposed, but it works for me. Parking lot was a little awkward, though.

Looks nothing like the Hopjacks downtown in terms of ambiance. Not as dingy, but the layout is more awkward. To put it in perspective: this was built originally as a Schlotsky’s Deli back in the day. That being said, the tap list is still excellent, although downtown had it beat when I visited. Slightly less to choose from, but we’re talking 85 taps as opposed to 112 downtown.
