76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20
Not as cosy as I had expected. Very very noisy and busy on a Wednesday night. Service is ok but kind of slow / uninterested and almost annoyed by me asking questions about the beer instead of just ordering and moving on. Selection is good, cask and tap had quite a few interesting things. Didnít spend too much time over the bottle list, because of 1. time issues, 2. a lot of (Belgian) import and 3. money. But itís very extensive and diverse. Interesting to see!

Having read other reviews wasnít quite sure what to expect. But boy o boy was I not disappointed. The selection is absolutely mind blowing. They seem to focus a lot on foreign craft beer as well as some better belgian stuff on tap. Very friendly and unpretentious (not a beard in sight or single speed bike in sight!) atmosphere. Having a look at some of the rarities they have in bottles you begin to truly appreciate the work that goes into keeping up such a selection. The place itself is a nice clean pub with fairy lights up behind the bar and pleasant sod music in the background. I donít know how this place has been overlooked in the craft beer scene in London but I for one know where Iíll be drinking from now on.

I was not expecting this to be so good and refreshing! Unusually unpretentious crowd for a beer bar in London, better than average selection (quite great, actually) and good friendly service.

Stormbird is a very nice modernised corner pub with fairy lights behind the bar and large windows opening out onto the street on two sides, so on a warm spring evening it was light and airy. There was a nice atmosphere although it has to be said that itís a bit like a goldfish bowl and obviously attracts a trendy crowd, including a few people who were drinking pints of Kronenbourg - puzzling, as the beer list is terrific. They have five casks and about ten keg taps and they serve thirds as well as halves and pints. Weíd just come from Craft Brixton and Iíd say the choice of beers here was just as good and at considerably lower prices. Well worth a visit.

Visited early on a Saturday evening. Good spot. Kind of like craft beer for advanced beginners. Nothing too exciting on tap (cask or keg, both decent) or in bottle but plenty of solid standards like The Kernel, Summer Wine. Busy place with lots of energetic young folks. Very expensive. One of the better options for the area I suppose.

Nice modern bar/pub in Camberwell with a stylish craft beer interior and a really good range of kegged and cask real ales and craft beers. Busy and bustling later in the week with a young crowd. When I was in the line up featured cask beers from Tempest and Williamsburg and a keg range that included Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, Kernel Pale Ale, Kernel Saison, Mikkeller, Brewdog, and a decent range of stuff in several fridges. Service is friendly and helpful. Will be coming back here, although Camberwell not the easiest place to get to on public transport.

Visited 22/2/14. Great keg lineup with some interesting stuff on offer from Mikeller, Beacertown, Kernel and some more of the usual suspects. An extensive bottle list too. Disappointing on the cask front, only three on offer and two of them were off when I went :( Good atmosphere and was able to get a table easily on a Saturday night. Nice little gem in Camberwell and well worth a visit.

Surprisingly good craft pub in deepest, darkest Camberwell. Nice, airy space. Wooden tables, christmas lights behind the bar. The service was friendly. The selection was actually pretty good, bigger than their website indicates. They had some arcane stuff from Brodies alongside beers like Brooklyn Sorachi Ace. Mostly keg stuff, thereís only 2 cask beers. The bottle fridges looked nicely diversified. The prices were solid. They sell beers in third measures on request, which is pretty rare in London. Overall, a nice surprise. I donít know if this place can survive in this random location, but theyíre giving it a good shot.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Have seen growlers being filled a few times which is very unusual in London. Easily the best selection of any south east London bar outside zone 1. Permanent tap line from Kernel and semi-permanent lines from Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada, Magic Rock and Brodies.

Pleasant craft beer bar close to Camberwell Green. Decent selection of craft keg including guests. Was easily the best craft keg option in the wider area but now has strong competition from the two recent openings in Brixton.
