Visited here on a Saturday evening. Wait time was about 45 minutes which was OK because there’s an expansive park across the street where my 2 year old could play. It’s not part of Pfriem, but this is a major perk. The inside is a cross between an industrial brewery and a high-end restaurant; they also have a patio for warm evenings. Major perk for parents: a kid’s corner. So nice for us adults who need to keep our kids occupied while we tick. Service is good and knowledgeable, and the food was tasty - though I was very disappointed that they nixed the Belgian food. It’s a really nice place with really good beer; it’s well worth your time.

They have and impressive taproom, although I dislike them having a hostess for seating (and one third of the seating space unused). They have WiFi. 12 taps; and pFriem beers are good.

Yes it’s a tasting room, with all the big shiny tanks, but does it all have to have such an industrial feel. The chairs could easily support 300 pounds and I’d fear to see anyone who could pick one up and slam someone else with it. big windows with good view of the great park across the street and the Columbia. They explore their range of interests, with like 5 of 10 beers being saisons. High quality beers. Very friendly service.

Dropped in on our way home after a week at cbc. Long wait this place was packed. But worth the wait I had all 12 beers on tap and 11 of them were solid. All different styles they hit well and really nailed the German stuff. The food was also very nice. A must stop.

I had dinner with the family here. The food was varied and excellent. The service good and knowledgeable. They had 12 of their brews available, most were either English or Belgian styles and all tasted pretty good. Also, very family friendly. When in the Gorge, this place is one of the top stops for beer and food.

Wow! This place is great. Forget Full Sail. Forget Double Mountain. If you are in Hood River, this is the place to be! Great location, great service. Fantastic beer. Their signature IPA with Mosiac, Citra and Chinook hops is one of the best. Don’t miss this place!

Love the Pfriem beers and loved visiting this place. The brewpub is right across from where all the kite and windsurfers practice. There is a patio, but we sat inside and it was a nice place to eat lunch. They’ve got a good kitchen too; mussels were yum and best frites I’ve had in a long time. A real class act, this.

This is a fantastic place. One of the best I have ever been. Food, beer and the feel is out of this world. A truly awesome treat to see.

Visited on 24/05/13 around 3pm. Pfriem is a moderan facility by the banks of Hood River with bench seating for around 30 people, plus standing space with a shelf to place your beer on, to the side overlooking the brewing kit. There was also a pile of toys for kids to play with. Food was available but we’d already eaten heartily at Everybody’s. 12 beers on tap - all their own brews, no bottled beers at the point of my visit, but growler fills available. Pfriems beers are pretty solid, good mix of styles but more interesting than the typical start up brewery badly named "Mc’bollocks" scotch ale kind of rubbish. $12 got you 6 times 4oz samplers. The mosaic single hop was top draw - 4.2 for me, the saison also stood out. Well worth stopping by.
