I stopped here recently on my return from Milwaukee to Chicago to checkout the two breweries in town (also Rustic Road). I thought the vibe and ambiance were great even given it was late afternoon and not crowded yet. I liked the eclectic dťcor and the woodwork of the bar. The bartender was very helpful an made it possible for me to try flight sizes of all of their beers even though they didnít divide evenly with all that were available that day. The Bone Dry Irish and Public Pale were good...but I especially enjoyed the Inkwell Black IPA and the Public Access Session IPA. I recommend a visit here and look forward to stopping back another time when they are busier...I think it would be a fun place to hangout.

I get here about every couple months or so. They make a decent beer, and they have a different vibe than most brewpubs Iíve visited. Good place to read a book, play board games or bar-shuffleboard, and it seems more social than most bars. No TV, and thatís a good thing. Itís a good place to relax and drink beer. If only they were open more hours.

Largish space in the downtown area - the decor is a nice mix of modern and traditional - hardwood bar and floors, a lot of low, modish tables, a few couches - some games, a shuffleboard table - six beers on tap - the focus seems to be on sessionable British styles - there was a brown, a porter, and a stout, all of which were below 5% - nice - for the most part, the quality was consistently good, especially with the most sessionable brews - the brewer was also my bartender - very down to earth and personable - had a chance to chat with him for a minute of two - heís been home brewing for 13 years and has a goal of bringing less-represented session beers to the market - reasonable prices - 7 bucks for a flight of six generous-sized tasters - overall, a very warm and inviting space, with excellent service, and quality beer - a place like this would probably do well in a much larger city, so hopefully it will do well here - definitely worth a stop - I would take this over Rustic Road right around the corner.

At this time 6 beers on tap with plans to go to 9. Bar with about 12 seats, a lounge area, and a game area including shuffleboard. The beers are more traditional and geared toward more session drinking. A very friendly place.

Medium sized taproom in downtown Kenosha. A one man show run by the owner/brewmaster/bartender. Only four beers on my first visit but they plan to have more on as the get settled in a bit. A pile of games up front and a couch or two to relax on as well.
