Overview: Stopped back in last night looking for Red Dragon cheese (I’m shopping for cheese most days I stop by). Still a very clean layout with modern decor and shelving. Service has always been friendly and willing to talk, but I’ve never asked any beer-related questions. Selection has slipped some; they’ve gotten rid of their 750 ml lineup, and stock all of their beer in a fridge to the right as you enter; mostly 12 oz. bottles of beer you could find at Valumarket a stones throw away. A few pint cans as well, but ditto. They have a small, but thoughtful selection of cheese and meats near the back of the store, and often have smaller cheese chunks for the cheese ticker. Their prices on beer are just about average. PROS: Good cheese selection. CONS: Downsized beer selection (maybe it just wasn’t moving fast enough?); beer that remains only the widely available stuff. OVERALL: Pretty much a local option for anyone living closer to here than to Valumarket. A nice place, but nothing near a destination for beer.

Small store but they’ve done what they can with the space they have. As the name suggests, they specialize in wine but they also have some good beers if you look. Interesting cheese selection as well. Prices are normal to a little higher. Decent store but nothing exceptional.
