Been here a few times. 1st time bar was quite loud, last night it was subdued and casual. Beer is always great with stuff you can’t get anywhere else in Rochester that I know of. For instance 2 or 3 sours on tap. Food is decent, eclectic, and true to Belgian style. Price is somewhat high, but heck Belgian beer isn’t cheap.

Belgian beer bar and restaurant in downtown Rochester, opened in July 2012. Getting a lot of buzz, so my wife and I stopped in after a movie. Restaurant sits below street level and has a cool outdoor seating area with a fireplace. Bar area seats about 30 and is loud. Restaurant adjoins the bar. About 20 beers on tap, mostly Belgian or Belgian style, with another 50+ bottles available. Service very slow, but knowledgeable about the beers. Did not try the food. Good place for a beer lover who likes Belgians.
