Second favorite stop on the RBSG tour, and probably some of the best beers. Service was a bit lacking, but they were very busy. Great stop.

Get there early if you want a growler!
Excellent beer. Excellent atmosphere.
I recommend the trifecta with Indeed, Dangerous Man, 612... all right there.

Definitely packed on a Saturday night. Solid beer at a good price. At the time I was there, $5 pints or $3 tulips. Good variety of brews, and they definitely go through the batches in a hurry. It seems like they added some staff. There is the occasional person coming around and taking orders. Canít blame them for lack of seating when there really isnít anywhere else to put tables. Solid place!

Visited on August 16, 2013 as part of RBSG.
This is a large open dinning hall with a bar on one side which seemed to be under staffed. There was a long table reserved for us but the service was pretty slow. Actually there was no table service, so all 20 of us had to go to the bar. I guess I canít blame them for being popular but for 50 people it seems like they should have more than 2 people serving drinks or taking orders. That said, the service was friendly at least.
I tried all the house beers despite them not offering flights. Ordered two pints and split them with some friends. I was excited to try a "German IPA" but didnt enjoy it much. My favorite was the Belgian table beer. Iím not into stouts but the milk stout seemed fairly popular.

Fourth stop of the night for the brewery tasting room crawl I did with family on a Friday evening. Easy location to find, corner bat in a residential neighborhood of Nordeast. Large space with two levels of tables and bar tables, along with a decent sized bar. They had a specific spot to order beers at the bar, which was a nice touch, made ordering orderly and friendly. Selection and service were great, beer quality was really high. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place, and will certainly return. Along with Indeed, Dangerous Man was the top spot of the night.

Visited on a hopping Friday night. The place was pretty packed. Cool, small taproom. They had 4 beers on tap when I visited. I really enjoyed the Black Lager that I had. Seems like this place has already really taken off. Iím not surprised, seems like a cool place.

Itís actually a better deal per ounce to buy the smaller glasses - which is good for us who like to try it all. I played some Backgammon after standing for an hour until a table opened up. They need to add more high tops or something. Beer is above average (Chocolate Milk Stout is the best)

Another nice tap room in Northeast Minneapolis. Very crowded on a winter afternoon. They have table service but there is not enough staff, or enough tables with dozens of people standing wherever they can find room. It is great they let you bring food in, but no food is available here. Beer is fairly high quality, and I like the old building.

Went on two occasions and had different selection both nights, but pretty bummed that the Chocolate Milk Stout was out the second night. Packed to capacity both times I have gone, tad annoying trying to grab a beer with the entire bar filled. Other than that it has a pretty cool atmosphere and prices are some of the best I have seen.

Went in on a Thursday night. The place was packed! Itís great that so many people are out supporting a new local business, but the way they arranged seating doesnít exactly maximize table capacity. Thereís one long community table in the middle -- a cool idea if it werenít so crowded -- which seats maybe 15-20, but they could easily have six tables side by side turned 90 degrees to accommodate quite a few more people. They only had four brews on tap, which was disappointing considering theyíve made ten beers so far, but the value is great. Service was friendly but slow as the two bartenders were kept very busy. The friendliness makes up for it though! Itís also a bummer that theyíre only open until 10, but I wish them the best! Weíll be back to try more.
