Small train station pub with entry best approached from the art deco hall at Leeds main station, this is where the patio area is too so it remains inside and covered. It’s handy for the trains and a live departures screen lets you know when your transport is about to leave. The decor is familiar for this chain, traditional and comfortable. The bar sports two real ale pump rows but prices are slightly higher in this pub given the location. UPDATE 18 DEC 2014. In here earlier and very busy as usual, noticed that some of my beer listing for this place had been deleted by someone, but more importantly the train departure screens have also been removed, so you now need to be more vigilant of the time if indulging in here but need to catch a choo choo!

Visiting on 9th March. Very busy and only half the hand pulls had beers on. The pub also appeared to have run out of some lager brands much to the chagrin of the locals. Not a great example of a Spoons but handy for the station and has been better. Worth a look inbetween trains but so many better places in Leeds

Have visited a number of times over the years whilst waiting for a train. Outside of the station itself this JDW is moderately sized with an outside patio area. Usual muted ambiance of a spoons but at least being a railway station one it tends to be passing trade as opposed to mutant locals. Beer range OK and never had a bad pint here, service typical spoons. If you have half an hour to kill at Leeds City station - no harm popping in here.
