Great tasting room. Too dark to get a good read on beer appearance, but good beer and good service. Probably not the best place if you’re allergic to dogs. Very dog friendly.

Comments: Aardwolf is making great beer and a lot of it. A huge selection of house beers is a bit overwhelming. For instance, three different IPAs and three different saisons seems overkill. Staff were friendly and prompt. Great atmosphere- lively with after work crowds. Older and younger adults in large friend groups. Loved the vibe. Obviously they are doing well.

Large open tap room, open face brick, long bar. Decent surrounding. Lots of beers on tap, all of their own. Decent prices. Luv dis place,

When I visited: Late March 2014. What I had: Flight of Aardwolf Merry X-Mas, Ya Filthy Animal Olde Ale, Nonchalant IPA, The Waiting Dark Saison, and Eastbound & Brown India Brown Ale for myself, and a flight of Farm to Table Saison, Pilot Batch Belgian Single, Red Lightning, and Swamp Head Saison du Swamp for my partner. What I liked: Massive taproom, lots of schwag available, huge and clearly visible draught list, friendly staff, most of the beers were excellent quality, they brew an impressive range of styles and seem to be pushing the envelope in Jacksonville, free parking, place was packed by 4pm on a Saturday. What I disliked: While their beers are very good, and fairly innovative, I wouldn’t put Aardwolf in the top tier of American microbreweries (i.e. Three Floyds, Russian River, Founders, Cigar City, etc). But these are still early days and they may yet become one of the leaders in U.S. craft brewing. Certainly a brewery to watch in the coming years. Would I go back? Yes. Overall Rating: 82

Loud and crowded. But the layout with high ceilings makes it ok. Servers were quick and efficient. Prices were reasonable. I would come baxk occasionally if I lived here, because of the quality of the beers I had.

A nice brewpub in Jacksonville. It is located in a large industrial building featuring lots of open space, a long bar, plenty of tables, and a couple of back rooms. We ended up sitting in one of the back rooms which had 2 long benches and a TV and we happened to have the room mostly to ourselves. They have a bunch of taps - lots of different styles to choose from and a few unique higher gravity stuff. They also have a small number of guest taps. I tried a coffee brown, regular brown, saison, and black IPA. All were solid, above-average offerings. Overall, great beer, chill place, definitely worth a stop.

This is my favorite spot in Jacksonville to grab a great locally brewed beer. It’s located in San Marco with plenty of parking. The building itself is an old ice house from the 1930’s which has been beautifully renovated. There is tons of exposed brick with a good amount of tables and bar space. There’s also an outdoor seating area which is perfect on a nice day and it’s dog friendly. Aesthetics aside, the beer is great. I have never been disappointed by their beer. I recently had their Early Bird Special Breakfast Stout. It is loaded with cinnamon and it reminded me of a cinnamon bun. Probably one of my favorite beers , ever. Overall this is a fun place to check out and enjoy some great brews.

nice location; nice building; plenty of parking; large tap room. We went for the first time last night and it was packed with people. Very impressive. Oh and forgot to mention, beer is excellent as well.
