Huge Bavarian bier hall, very popular. Selection decent, but of course, only their own stuff. All on good form. Alas 500ml portions were the smallest pours. Scarily expensive for Germany, seems like it might be a tourist trap. Service was polite and efficient. Food looked good - big portions - but didn’t eat. Not a must-visit place if you’re pressed for time, but certainly not worth avoiding if you’re in the area.
A lot of tables outside. Huge room indoor with a lot of long wood tables and benches. Quick service by young people. Limited number of draught beer. Fair prices. Music and dance in the evening. Traditional German food in large sizes.
A place near to Alexanderplatz, a very huge beer hall. The waitress came almost too late when we were thinking about leaving, but we stayed there for a beer at last. We were there when some English guys celebrated a coming wedding of their mate, unfortunately they were drunk and ruined the mood of the guests. I felt sorry about that, but as I see a bunch of English guys with the same reason in Budapest every day, I was not surprised then the other guests in the hall.
Huge beer hall close to Alexanderplatz. Prober beer hall atmosphere including live music and Bavarian food. Lots of tourists and mostly dinner guest at the time of my visit, but to drop by just a a beer or two is also possible. Enormous places like this is not quite my thing, but the atmosphere was quite pleasant and the service was friendly and efficient.
