Pretty cool spot. A ton of house beers, around 24. Service was super nice and the food is very good.

Visited on a busy Thursday night after a looong day of travel- so I was exhausted. The place was packed- there was a wait for tables so I grabbed a spot at the bar. The decor was nice but not unique- just kind of reminded me of any chain place. They had a decent selection of house brews plus a couple of guests and bottles. The service was fine, but it was too busy for much interaction. The brisket was pretty good but the mac n cheese was overly peppery and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp too long (and way too hot). Prices seemed average. Seems like a good place to go on a date with someone youíve been seeing a while or to take the family.

I visited here on a Monday right before noon. The place is very nice. Decor is very classy. The patio is a great touch. I had the coffee kolsch on this visit, but Iíve had a few Fate beers around town before. I have been very impressed with the quality. The selection was pretty broad here including a well stocked guest tap list. Most standard beers are $4.50 for a pint or a 10 oz. I didnít order food, but it looked and smelled delicious. I would definitely return if I were in the area.

Stopped in for a short visit recently. Had a chance to sample 3 of their beers. Very close to Avery, so you should do both visits. Bartender was great as was the hostess. Beers were good. Wish I had more time for this visit. Guest taps were well above average. Will return.

Visited Wednesday at 5:30pm, the place was packed and loud and had a 30 minute wait for a table. I finally was able to grab a seat at the bar. A nice big wrap around bar and plenty of seating inside and out. View of the brewery. A nice list of beers on tap. The beers were OK, but nothing special

Nice looking establishment, but a little too upscale for a brewery for me personally. Service was pretty good. Selection was awesome, very good selection of their own beers, plus maybe 20 other taps. Did not eat. Value... Well, not much for value; pricey for sure. Overall, I liked some beers, disliked others, but the place is worth stopping into if you are in the area.

Last of the brewpubs on day one in Boulder. Visited with Mike and Bobby, tired every beer offered (17 of them). The ambiance here is really nice. I suppose it might be somewhat hipster, but itís modern and well done, for sure. Sat at a booth in the back of the restaurant. The waitress was a bit shocked that we wanted to try everything, but I guess thatís understandable. The beers were decent for the most part without much dipping into the lows or peaking at the highs. Certainly a place you could enjoy a couple beers. Some weird ideas/recipes, but they work out alright for the most part.

Visited October 7, 2013 with 3fourths and womencantsail.

Very nice place right by the bike trail and they have enough beer to keep you busy for quite a while. The interior is open and nicely done. We sat at a booth right next to the brewing equipment which is behind a glass wall. The server was nice and was willing to help us tick all the house beers. We tried almost 20 house beers, all in 4oz tasters and she brought them 5 at a time for us to try. Fate seems to focus on German style beers which is an interesting touch. We tried no less than 3 different kolsch beers along with a doppelbock and eisbock, a roggenbier, a gose, and a hefe. They also have some other styles like a stout and some hoppy beers. Over all the beers were all decent with one or two standouts. Iíd definitely come back if for no other reason than to try the new stuff but also because this is a really nice place to spend some time.

Definitely has a gastropub vibe but its next to a store that sells grow lights for medicinal plants which lets you know that youíre in Boulder. They have, in addition to 13-15 of their own, another 20 or so guest taps. I thought their beers were solid with my favorite being the Coffee Kolsch which sounds weird but works brilliantly. The staff was pleasant and receptive mitigated no doubt by the Broncos dismantling of the Raiders during my time. They seem fairly ambitious and one to watch for in the future.
