Coffee, bike repair, and beer cafe. Very friendly service and a small tap selection. Bottles were all high quality: Logsdon, Ale Apothecary, and Upright. Some of which I couldn’t find anywhere else in Portland or Bend. Great wrap around porch with cafe style tables right on the River. The atmosphere was unrivaled by any place I visited during my Oregon trip. I could see my wife and I spending a ton of time on that patio watching the sunset on the river with a great bottle of beer. Highly recommended.

Visited on 23/05/13 specifically to catch an Ale Apothecary event when they were launching Sahati. Trendy kind of joint, people largely aged 25 to 40, largely hanging around outside some folks with kids and dogs. We only ventured inside to get beers, 16 taps, almost all local OR and more specfically brewers in the Bend vicinity. Service OK - a little slow and folks lined up in a queue, not sure if this is the norm or just because of the event? Prices of bottles a little high as well, I picked up one bottle from Ale Apothecary at the event but found another a few hours later for a few bucks less at the Growler Guys in Bend. Nice spot though and worth stoppping by to pick up some good local choices on tap.

A verbatim clone of its long lost identical twin in Denver, Denver Bicycle Cafe: a snooty hipster coffee shop that repairs bikes and has a legit craft beer selection. And the selection here was dope with some Upright and De Garde stuff I saw nowhere else in Oregon. Holy monkey. Bottles to go of Ale Apothecary and Upright Special Herbs were very pricey $18-25 per 750; but I should have bought some to go. Grrrr. Quiet, study time ambiance is also identical to Denver Bicycle Cafe. I have a feeling these are owned by the same person.... Great location right on the "riverwalk" of sorts and adjacent to the Farmers Market when in season. Can throw a large rock into the window of Bend Brewing from here. Easy to stop in here while walking around the main Bend shopping area and grabbing dinner at say Barrio, a top notch tapas place. Do not scroll past.
